Customer Review Summary

Commuters and office workers return most for the flat white, with several reviewers praising the Allpress beans and calling the coffee better than other options near the station. Close behind are the breakfast sandwiches, especially the bacon, egg and avocado version and the egg and sausage combinations, described as hot, flavourful and good value. Reviewers also single out the build-your-own salad box, with extra tuna a regular order, plus jacket potatoes, a halloumi, avocado and red pepper panini, a brownie and a pistachio chocolate croissant. Staff are repeatedly called friendly, polite and quick, and the patio gets mentioned as a place to sit. The coffee does not suit everyone. One reviewer found the espresso acidic and bitter, and another found the flat white a tad too bitter, though a staff member added extra milk. A former daily customer also stopped going after feeling servers gave a cold response to regulars while greeting other customers with excitement. Early opening before other coffee shops is noted as convenient.

“Massive fan of the Allpress beans that they use, the only place in Cambs that I know of who uses them. Frequent a lot, especially when the weather is great after a gym session to soak up some sun with a flat white and friends. Always a good experience.”

“Delicious food. I had a halloumi, avocado and red pepper panini, a lovely salad box and a brownie. Loved that you can create your own salad. Friendly staff. Very convenient location. Nice atmosphere. Good seating area.”

“This place is alright when you’re at the station early in the morning, as it’s open before other coffee shops, so that is quite convenient. The taste of the espresso is not very good, very acidic and bitter, just not my personal fave. It’s an alright place, but I used to go here everyday and the servers have favourite customers that they are so bubbly towards and excited to see and go above and beyond for. It doesn’t feel great as a customer when you go somewhere everyday and get a very cold response for customer loyalty, but then someone else stops by and they get so excited. Doesn’t make the regular customer feel great. It happened all the time and just got a bit annoying I’ve stoped going, but it’s decent if you need coffee early in the morning.”

“One of the best coffees near Cambridge station. I work in one of the offices in front of the station and I get my coffee from flavour station almost everyday. It is much better than the other options available there. One of the reasons could be the friendly staff. Highly recommend.”
  • Kaan Arslan
“Wonderful place, i have been couple of times, very friendly staff. They are very welcoming, the variety of breakfast sandwiches, omlettes and salad boxes are very delicious. And the coffee is superb. I highly recommend you grab something before your next train or if you ever come to Cambridge, as it is a couple of steps from the train station.”
