“Multiple lovely spaces to choose from inside and out. They recently installed air conditioning just in the conservatory area in the picture. All other spaces are ambient temp. Wonderful during the heat wave. Great food and drinks. Booking ahead recommended.”

“We ordered the duck breast, which was quite expensive. Unfortunately, it was very chewy and felt undercooked. It also lacked flavour, which was disappointing. On a positive note, the pâté was very nice and enjoyable. The restaurant itself is lovely, and the service was good. Overall, while the atmosphere was pleasant, the main course did not live up to expectations, especially given the price.”

“Best Sunday roast I ever had. Delicious potatoes, perfect chicken with abricots, amazing Yorkshire pudding, etc etc. Sticky toffee pudding was defo enough for 2 persons! Service and atmosphere just perfect. Only comment: the vegetarian wellington (again: delicious!) portion size was just too small.”
