About The Victoria Park
The Victoria Park is a gastropub in Bristol at 66 Raymend Rd, next to Victoria Park among a row of houses. A terraced beer garden cascades down the back of the pub and looks across Bristol and Dundry hill, so the view comes with a drink or a meal outdoors. Inside, the floors are stripped boards. The menu mixes British dishes with small plates, including fish and chips and a Sunday roast of roast pork with a Yorkshire pudding. Dogs are welcome, and the pub keeps treats and toys for them. Table bookings are taken, and a quiz night is held at the pub.

Customer Review Summary
Reviewers most often single out the beer garden, a terraced space with views across Bristol, and several note that dogs are welcome, with treats and toys provided. Food praise centres on the fish and chips and the chicken strips, both called excellent, plus a beef roast with sweet potato chips inside the Yorkshire pudding and braised pulled beef on top. Staff are described as friendly in most positive reviews, and one reviewer mentions the quiz night. The Sunday roast draws the sharpest complaints: dry pork saved by gravy, greasy roast potatoes, very salty potatoes that are no longer unlimited, and one roast served without a Yorkshire until it was requested. Several call the portions poor value for the price. Two reviewers also describe slow, inattentive service, including dirty wet tables, a very long wait for food, and a table of eight having a chalkboard with the next booking slammed down in front of them.

“This pub is a hidden gem. Among the row of houses, you might almost miss it. But absolutely worth spending your Sunday evening in. The view is stunning. You get panoramic views of Dundry hill. The staff are sweet and very helpful. As it's a dog friendly pub, you'll spot some cute furry friends. It's also a great spot to get work done in the mornings when it's quieter.”

“What a lovely pub! Service was exceptional - warm and friendly, efficient and welcoming. Food was delicious and reasonably priced. And the view was a great bonus!”

“The Sunday roast has gone downhill. No longer unlimited potatoes and they were VERY salty. Not a great size for the price but the 2 little bits of pork were nice enough. Very limited Sunday menu and all the desserts involved salted carmel which isn't great if you aren't a fan.”

“Really lovely spot next to Victoria Park. Huge outdoor area in the back. Our dogs loved it! We tried the fish and chips and the chicken strips appetizer. Both excellent!”

“Did the quiz here for the first time last week and had a great time! Staff are amazingly friendly, prices are really good and it's worth the visit for the views from the terraced beer garden alone. Menu looked great and priced reasonably so will be going again!”
