  “I had to review this exceptional restaurant. We were served by Raphael who was very welcoming, explained the menu, and was attentive throughout. When he changed shifts he handed us over to other equally excellent staff. The food is out of this world, the sushi very fresh, I had the silver shell which was so impressive in presentation as was my husband’s half duck. Other plates including the makhani curry, popcorn shrimp, miso cod and aubergine side dish were exceptionally good. The theatre and presentation made the meal unforgettable. The impressive decor, perfectly pitched music from a live dj which blended into the background with it being far from intrusive so you didn’t have to shout, and beautifully decorated tables made for perfect ambience. We are both very fussy, this was the best meal and meal experience we’ve had for years. Even presented us with complimentary dessert for our anniversary. Well done Ivy Asia Brighton!”

  “Went to dine in this fancy restaurant in the heart of Brighton together with my friends and unfortunately we were unable to book for our table but luckily for us we were accommodated. The restaurant is so beautiful and serene, the staff are all very friendly and welcoming. We ordered a set menu for lunch which only costs £21.95 each. The food is so delicious and fresh. The portions are just right. The overall ambiance of the place is just perfect for friendly get together. The toilets are very clean and well-maintained. Overall, we were mesmerised with the atmosphere and the wonderful service we received. Highly recommended. 15 out of 10 Stars! Well done Ivy Asia Brighton!”

  “We visited as part of the Brighton Pavilion Dragon Festival and it was also my husband's birthday. Fantastic decor throughout, warm welcome and good service overall. Gochujang chicken with spiced pickles very good though chicken was a tad overcooked and dry. King prawn noodle main was very tasty though portion a little small and the king prawns were halved to make them look more plentiful. Star of the show was the Golden Monkey dessert with chargrilled pineapple and coconut ice cream- it was divine! My husband also received a complimentary birthday dessert which was a very thoughtful touch. Current offer is 50% off all mainstream wines which made a bottle of Primitivo very good value! There was a mixup up with the billing as we were charged for our meal, which we had already prepaid back in May but this was swiftly corrected. Music was not very good - club music and too loud for a Sunday afternoon.”

  “This was our 20 year wedding anniversary special occasion dinner date so we chose this stunning local Pan-Asian restaurant for its menu, decor, and reputation. The FOH were welcoming and polite and made you feel you were entering a special place. They were happy for us to sit at the Pagoda bar for our pre-dinner cocktails, the server happy to guide and accommodate our selection. We were seated at a large table by the window with full view of the incredible interior and pink cherry blossom tree which the servers then cleared for just the 2 of us, our cocktails brought to the table. The tableware was beautiful, seating comfortable, the in-house music DJ had ambient levels. Our server Duncan was warm, friendly and explained the best way to chose from the A la carte menu with plates and sides to compliment our preferred dinning occasion. The choice of flavour and ingredients of the dishes was a big reason for choosing this menu as the quality and range stood out in variety. Each dish was visually stunning with beautifully presented garnishing, all served together in plated courses. The quality of each dish was fantastic, the balance of flavours and tastes were excellent. The Traditional Sake Flight selection was expertly guided to accompany and compliment the courses, the Tokubetsu was particularly special. The whole experience was exactly as advertised and locally rumoured. A wonderful evening dinner and what we hoped for to elevate a special occasion. Shout out to Duncan for his excellent service throughout our evening, especially for his personal dessert recommendation, Samurai. Incredible!!   “We went there for a first date and it was perfect! From the moment we got seen until the end. Everyone that we spoke to were lovely and so polite, not forced at all. What really made our evening was Duncan, so attentive and he let us use his fan which really helped on a hot day like today. Will definitely recommend coming here and we will definitely come back for sure ☺️”

  “We have been to an Ivy in London, so we thought we would try Ivy Asia instead. Such a beautiful restaurant, from the lobby & dining area to the most well appointed & elegant washrooms. The food was delicious. Perfectly seasoned, beautifully presented. Excellent cocktails and the service was exemplary. We had an excellent time, highly recommended.”

  “The staff were so lovely and the service was super quick. The interior is honestly gorgeous. I really loved the beef tartare & Keralan chickpea curry, and the mocktail was proper good too. Plenty of variety on the menu. We went for my sister’s birthday and they even brought out mochi, which was such a sweet touch. It’s fully wheelchair accessible and definitely worth booking a table in advance because it’s a big space but gets busy. Highly recommend.”

  “The restaurant is a beauty, its decoration and staff uniforms are combined, the floor shocked me because I had never seen an agate stone floor. The attention was excellent. The background DJ is very nice with his music and low level, you can talk. The food was very well presented and tasty. The desserts are very tasty, just like the cocktails. The only thing that would improve is that when I made the booking it indicated that it was a birthday, then at the time of dessert they brought me my birthday dessert courtesy of the house that was great but without the happy birthday song, I think it would have been perfect a quick song with the staff or take advantage of the DJ that the restaurant has for those special moments. Otherwise I would eat there again many times..”

  “We had an amazing experience at The Ivy Asia celebrating our 2nd wedding anniversary. The food was absolutely incredible, and every dish we tried was delicious. The lychee matcha and the gyoza were especially amazing! A special thank you to Libby and Jess, who looked after us so well and made sure we had everything we needed throughout the evening. Their attentive service really made our celebration extra special. As a lovely surprise for our anniversary, they brought us delicious mochi presented beautifully in a tiny wooden box, with a chocolate message that said "Happy Anniversary". It was such a thoughtful touch and made the occasion even more memorable. Fantastic food, excellent service, and a wonderful atmosphere. We had a wonderful evening and would highly recommend The Ivy Asia for a special occasion. We will definitely be back!”
