  “Booked online for a group of 8, and it’s so easy and quick. When we arrived we were shown to our table. All the staff were very pleasant. There were a few items not available but that did not detract from our experience, All of us enjoyed our food and the service and the price was surprisingly reasonable considering we eat out in at our home in Surrey where we would have paid considerably more.”

  “Came in as a walk-in family of 6 the lady who greeted us Michelle was so welcoming and lovely. She went above and beyond to make sure our dining experience was top notch. Sat down had some food, it was so good. 6 very happy, very full guests.”

  “Lovely evening spent here with friends, even thought they had just taken an order for 22 (birthday group) they advised maybe a delay as it was also so hot in the kitchen, the food was great and wait wasn’t excessive. We will definitely be returning!”

  “Great meal tonight. Chef Morgan absolutely fantastic and can't do enough. Insisted on toasting a bun for us when we hadnt realised it wasnt included with our meal. That was our fault but he insisted on providing one anyway! Danny who was waiting was quick polite and very attentive. El at the bar was very efficient, friendly and helpful too. What a team! Can't wait to come back.”

  “Visited to celebrate my grandsons birthday. Reserved a table for 9,6 adults 3 children. Excellent service with all staff ensuring meals arrived quickly and the children's side served first. Excellent choice of wines,beers, lagers and bottle beers. We put the cake behind the bar and they brought it out when requested. The menu choice has been reduced to what it used to be which is a shame but understandable in today's climate. Overall we had a great time and was well looked after.”

  “We visited today for the 2nd time and we will definitely be visiting again! Service was excellent, the food was so nice it in the kids words it was banging!! We had a range of meals from the adult and kids menus and it all was good. We spent 2 and a half hours there. The kids had the best time. 2 adults and 4 kids. Youngest being 4 and eldest 10. The kids played in the park, took a rugby ball to play catch outside, they had a game of darts and games of pool. So us mums could sit and watch them while having a catch up. The kids did not want to leave and are asking when they can go next. The staff were so accommodating for us all. We will 100% be going back with the kids and I would definitely recommend for food, atmosphere and a relaxed setting for the family! Thanks x”

  “Absolutely fantastic experience at Cherry Laurel! The atmosphere was warm and welcoming from the moment we arrived, and the service was outstanding throughout. A special mention has to go to Katy, who was incredibly friendly, attentive, and made us feel genuinely valued as customers. Nothing was too much trouble, and her positive attitude really made the visit even more enjoyable. Manager Kelly also deserves recognition for running such a brilliant establishment. It’s clear there’s a great team spirit, and the high standards of customer service really shine through. Great food, excellent service, and a lovely atmosphere, we’ll definitely be returning and highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing meal and top-quality hospitality!”

  “Wiki was very hospitable. She was very attentive. The food was very nice, the meals were served quickly but cooked well and were tasty. The atmosphere was welcoming. We liked the idea of dogs being welcome and smiled at the pictures on the wall. We will definitely be back.”

  “After not visiting for a good few years, Mum and I were pleasantly surprised by The Cherry Laurel when we popped in after work this evening! It had gone downhill massively, but I’m pleased to report that there’s been a huge upgrade on all sides of the service. The food was lovely pub grub, and the staff were all so friendly. The refurb is great too, it’s got more of a cosy country pub feel now - we loved the new wallpaper. Thank you Katie, Annabelle, Kelly, Sylvia & Justin - keep up the good work.”
