  “My husband and I visited on Sunday for lunch. Greeted by nice lady. Asked if I could have small roast (senior citizens)Told no only up to age 12. Not the case at bobs smithy or other restaraunts. Hade to order food at bar. I asked a nice youg lady if she could get me a drink as I was eating. Yes certainly she replied. She returned to say Im not allowed have to go to the bar. I have never been asked to do this in any other pub or restaurant in my life. Will not be returning The food was lovely”

  “We are regulars at the Victoria Inn and rightly keep coming back time after time. The food quality is always great, whether it’s bar snacks or a Sunday roast. The range of drinks is excellent, and every member of staff is lovely and serves with a smile. Couldn’t recommend it highly enough — easily one of the best bars for somw distance.”

  “Absolutely one of the best pub restaurants Bolton has to offer. Whether you just want a drink or two with friends or come in for a full three course meal, you really can’t go wrong. The staff work very hard to please, always friendly and welcoming whilst management working behind the scenes strive to improve customer service. Sunday lunch is fabulous ( Yorkshire puddings to die for) and has to be experienced. Keep up the awesome work everyone.”

  “Been here twice. First time here was alone for lunch. Ordered a slow cook beef brisket. Superb, the best I've tried in the city. Second time with family for dinner, ordered this slow cook beef brisket again and that remained as good as it had been. But the beef frites ordered by one of the family in the same dinner was terribly made, that beef frites couldn't even be chewed, let alone being cut on the plate so that's why a 3-star here for the food. The rest was very good”

  “Good choice of seating areas. It was nice to sit outside during the heat. Food was okay - cheese pie was too cheesy for even a cheese lover like me - would've preferred a balance of potato filling. Curry sauce was very salty and chips soggy, not crispy at all.”

  “Visited again for another Sunday roast. Delicious. We ordered a bottle of red wine, received white and rolled with it. The atmosphere was vibrant, as a match was playing in the pub. It brought life to the busy restaurant. Roasts were great, just as before. Staff was busy and very pleasant definately enjoy the depth and flavors of this filling meal. Visited again with an out of town guest and thoroughly enjoyed it again.”

  “Visited 20/09/2022, called ahead and made a reservation. Arrived and greeted fairly quickly and taken to assigned table for the group. Drinks order taken and then once arrived then ordered food. Came fairly quickly and then once done ordered from desserts menu (provided separately). Service great and majority of the food was given great reviews from the group. The steak ciabatta feedback was not as good as previously had (could be a one off). Good service provided by all the team who looked after the group. Worth going for a meal, and during nice weather to sit in the outside area too is recommended. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️”

  “All the staff were v helpful especially with 3 people with poor mobility. The food was lovely. Bonus to have the heated outdoor seating area too. Photos were after half eaten lol A chilled pleasant meal out.”
