  “I’ve been to Momo’s Diner many times with my friends, usually to collect takeaway whenever we’re in a rush or looking for a late-night meal. The food is consistently fresh, full of flavour, and the portions are generous. The quality has always been good, and it’s one of my favourite places for authentic Yemeni food. I’d definitely recommend giving it a try.”

  “I’ve been coming to Momos since I was a kid, and it’s still just as amazing! The same uncle is here, always cooking with the best ingredients and incredible skill. The food is so authentic, full of flavour, and always on point. They also have plenty of seating for families both upstairs and downstairs, which makes it even better. A place that truly never disappoints.”

  “Considering it was early on a Friday night, we were seated instantly and I ordered almost instantly. I ordered a platter for 4. The food arrived exceptionally fast but I was slightly disappointed with the quantity. It looked inviting so we got tucked in. All the food tasted spot on (although I found the rice a tad salty). The chicken shawarma went perfectly with the rice and so did the rest of the meal. I had to order an extra pasta and some fries and all in all it was a tasty and satisfying meal. The food sheikh says: I highly recommend you visit the establishment!”

  “We have been coming for a while over the years since over 10 years. However recently since a change of management and staff i have noticed the food standards drops drastically. Firstly as a restaurant i do not understand why there is soo much dirt around and why there is no hygiene protocol being followed. The stair case bar is very sticky the walls are dirty and the floors need a good scrub the stairs also have a lot of dirt on them. The bathroom is something else it is worse than the service bathrooms on the motorways. There was urine on the seat and floor with lots of tissue on the floor wet floors dirty sinks. This is not the first time also it's a frequent occurrence for this establishment to be filthy. Now let's move on to the food. Last time I came in January everything was tastey and fresh. However last night we ordered a platter and extra pasta. The kebab meat smelt rotten and had the most disgusting taste we had no choice but to spit it out. The pasta was bland and tasted reheated. The lamb meat was tasteless and the rice also tasted weird. Sadly have dropped in quality. Our ordeal didn't stop here with this restaurant when we asked the member of staff downstairs he said it was fine and that it wasn't rotten meat. A pure lie as we all wanted to vomit after feeling nauseous for two hours we actually did throw up so we definitely did get food poisoning from this establishment. Also they wasn't even kind enough to apologize or even take any accountability it's all good to pretend to be pious people on a Friday and sit and pray but it's another thing to have the heart to be honest in your business. Highly disappointed. Thanks for a waste of 70 pounds and time.”

  “Momo’s -Small Heath, Birmingham. Been going to this place for years, not have visited recently so thought I’d call in whilst in the area, food is still supper delicious, although prices have gone up substantially since I last visited … sum years ago! Food is super good though, credit to the area. No place to park though.”

  “Visited there on the other day. Friend wanted to have taste from Mediterranean and middle eastern cuisine. Staff very friendly and welcoming. Was busy times as you need to wait in line for a while to place your order. We ordered platter for two which includes Rice, Pasta, Veg Curry, ½ Chicken, Portion of LambQuzi & Chicken Shawarma served with Salad. lambQuzi was a bit dry but others are fine. They have also soup you can have help yourself with soup while waiting for your order. We tried lentils soup which is very nice to have it before the meal. They have also free spices black tea( mint cinnamon and cardamom ) that you can enjoy it after the meal. You can find black Thermos and cups by the soup table and help yourself with that. Downstairs it is a bit squeezed place as it is narrow but they have also upstairs place. It is worth to visit if you are around and see not busy time.”

  “The lamb platter for 2 does the trick for me everytime!!! I travel 2hours 20mins from Bradford to enjoy a meal at this gem of a place and it's always brilliant. I would highly recommend to try the soup before eating anything else, it's soooo good it makes your stomach ready for the main. Check out the snaps I took of the extremely tender and juicy lamb. I just can't believe how they get it so perfect everytime. 100 Stars form me 😊”

  “Good food and deserves a visit if you’re nearby. Came from London and was recommended this place. Food was good but some of it needed a little more salt and maybe some pepper. I would definitely come back again.”

  “We regularly go to momos as a family, we usually order family platters which tase really nice. The staff are really friendly and humble. We really enjoy it as a family. It may not be everyone cup of tea as the food does not contain the spices that some people would prefer.”
