  “I am absolutely disgusted by how my aunt and I were treated at City Fryer. We both wear the hijab, so it was completely obvious that we are Muslim. Despite this, they deliberately served us haram food, hid that fact, and subjected us to psychological bullying.I ordered a burger and my aunt ordered a wrap separately. The staff packed both items into the exact same bag without telling us. When I asked where my burger was, they lied straight to my face and said it would be ready in "3 to 4 minutes."They made me sit there and wait for 1 hour and 16 minutes for food that was already in our possession. The entire time, the staff were looking at us, whispering, and laughing because they knew exactly what they had done. When we finally asked again after over an hour, they all burst out laughing and told us it was in the same bag the whole time. (I had to wait a couple of weeks to write this just because I have severe anxiety to speak up just know I'm never going there again)”

  “I had 6 fish bites , chips and 3 wings.. the fish bites were nice, fresh but a bit to much oil but ok. Chips were so nice and same with the wings. I will deff come back for another visit”

  “I won’t be going back there again. To be fair, I didn’t even get to try the food, so I’m not going to lie about that. But the service was extremely rude and cold. No smiles at all, and they really don’t make you feel welcome. When I asked her about the basic sides that usually come with any meal after she took my order, she said, “You didn’t ask me about that,” in a very sharp, dry tone. Like… am I seriously supposed to ask about the basic things that normally come with a meal? Her attitude was very blunt and unfriendly.”

  “Was recommended this chippy & everyone had fish & chips which was lovely, I did try a few wings which were nice too. Although I was left disappointed with the kebab. It was quite hard and felt like it had been waiting for a while. I could tell it was a good chippy for the locals as all the tables had people at them. Prices are very fair and cheap too. If coming again I don’t think I’d have a kebab”

  “Best fish and chip shop in Birmingham, best prices very affordable and good service. Food is delicious and shop very very clean. Small portion of chips is huge and could only finish half. Very happy”

  “I have been a regular customer of this chip shop for a little while, but I don't think I'll be coming here anymore. They have raised the prices but decreased the portion of food they give. I got chicken and chips the other day and the portion of chips they gave was so small in comparison to what I've got before. How can you raise the prices but give less food ? Ridiculous.”

  “Walked about half an hour to visit this fish and chip shop after my local has gone bad and it was SO WORTH IT! Great fish and chips! Fantastic customer service! Excuse my photo - tucked in the minute I got home but had to share the size of the fish and quality!! Would recommend eating straight away rather than walking back home so that it’s SUPER FRESH but still so good. Very happy customer and I’ll be visiting again.”
