Reviewers most often mention curry goat, jerk chicken, rice and peas and fried chicken.
Customer Review Summary
Curry goat with rice and peas is the dish reviewers name most, praised as well seasoned, well presented and good quality. Close behind are the jerk chicken, the fried chicken, the fried dumpling and the patties, with one diner saying they chewed the bones and another calling the portions generous. Reviewers repeatedly describe the food as fresh and full of flavour, and one contrasts it with reheated microwave food elsewhere. The welcome comes up nearly as often as the cooking: diners describe a friendly lady serving, polite and attentive staff, and open answers about prices. One reviewer also mentions a good choice of drinks. The one recurring complaint is packaging. A diner who returned twice says the takeaway containers looked like cardboard and went soft, soaking up the gravy, and wishes for a sturdier container for food not eaten straight away. Even so, several say they plan to return, and one saved the leftover wings for later because the meal had already filled them.

“I would say not likkle pot, but big pot of pure delicious food, I enjoyed every bite! I even chewed the bones, so you know it's good. One of the best Jamaican takeaways so far, generous portions, and the patties, 😋 definitely 5 ⭐ and will most certainly be a return customer.”

“Very nice food but disappointed with the food containers on my last two visits. They looked like cardboard which went very soft and soaked up the gravy etc! It will make a big difference if a more sturdy container were used especially if you're not eating the food straight away!”

“Honestly, some of the best Jamaican food I’ve had. I came across this spot through the reviews and decided to give it a try while I was in the area…so glad I did. The food was packed with flavour and so fresh, definitely not that reheated-in-the-microwave stuff you get elsewhere. The guy who served me was polite and attentive, which made the experience even better. Couldn’t recommend it enough, when I’m back in the area I’ll definitely be grabbing food here again.”
