About Dead Poets Inn
Dead Poets Inn is a pub in Belper at 38 Chapel St, arranged around several snugs, one of them with its own serving hatch, and real fires in a number of its rooms. Dogs are welcome, and the pub provides blankets for them. A conservatory sits at the back of the building. The bar pours real ales, ciders and perries, with a large rotating cider list. The kitchen works from a menu of 19 dishes that includes Panini, Sausage Cobs and Chips. The pub also holds beer festivals and music nights.

Customer Review Summary
Reviewers most often come for the range of real ales, ciders and perries, and one cider hunter found a long list of flat ciders on when they visited. Close behind are the real fires and cosy snugs, one with its own serving hatch, plus a large beer garden for summer and a bright conservatory. Staff are repeatedly called friendly and welcoming. Food earns praise too, led by a bowl of chips with cheese and chilli, with cobs, toasties, paninis and hot sausage cobs also mentioned, and one diner calls the proper food good value. Beer festivals and music nights come up as regular happenings. Complaints are small. Street parking can make finding a spot difficult depending on the time of day, and one reviewer marked the pub down because there was no WiFi for checking sports scores. Children are welcome only in the conservatory and garden. The pub is described as very dog friendly, even providing blankets for dogs.
