  “I was very excited to try out 2026 "Michelin" star rated EDO, however, we were left extremely underwhelmed and disappointed. The positive - the waitress Natasha was lovely and was always making sure we were happy. The atmosphere was nice, yet not Michelin star level and the tables were very close together. The negatives (a lot) - The prices for the portion sizes were absolutely shocking. I understand they are tapas but almost 7 pound for some grilled peppers is outrageous... The food is ok at BEST, no real taste and odd texture for many dishes, such as the ham croquettes and paella. Beef cheek was pretty nice, yet 18 pound for the portion is very very poor. Cocktails were £12.50 and were like juice, we ordered a Paloma, and were given a watered down grapefruit juice with zero taste of alcohol. Even the dessert - chocolate and coffee tart - tasted SO watered down. Just bland bland food. All in all, I would not recommend EDO, particularly for the prices, portions sizes, and taste. I am clueless as to what the Michelin star and immense hype is for....”

  “The beef cheek was admittedly soft and flavorful, but that was the only highlight. The paella and chorizo were so aggressively over-salted that any actual flavor was completely destroyed. I almost never waste my precious time going out to public platform to make complaints, but the sheer arrogance of the service forced my hand. Before paying, I explicitly requested separate receipts for different dishes—a request the staff gladly agreed to. By dictionary, separate means more than 1 receipt, isn't it? I then paid in two distinct transactions using two separate credit cards. What did they hand me? A single, combined receipt showing two amounts. When I pointed out that this wasn't what was agreed upon, the staff suddenly claimed it was "impossible" to fix because the payment has already been made, and had the audacity to blame me for not being clear enough! In all my time in this country, I have never encountered a restaurant so utterly incapable of handling a basic billing request—let alone one that openly gaslights and blames the customer for their own failure. Absolutely shocking, completely unacceptable, and I will not be returning.”

  “I was very excited to try Edo considering the positive reviews and their recent Michelin award. After being there this evening however, I've been left nothing short of disappointed. The food is bland, with the lack of taste being over compensated by an awful amount of salt. The croquettes have a blended consistency that does not suit the dish nor resemble Spanish cuisine. Very little flavour, and again, overly salty. The Pan con Tomate, while better then the croquettes, are fairly disappointing for a "Michelin" restaurant. No originality and the bread is overly toasted making it hard to cut with a knife and fork or ever eat by hand. The paella was honestly the most disappointing aspect for me. The dish is incredibly bland, and what makes it worse it the lack of seafood. A total of 4 mussels and about 5 of what I think were tiny prawns. I also ordered the braised beef cheek, which was quite tasty, but for the portion I received was abysmal for the price. For dessert, the chocolate and coffee tart, which was nothing special. Cocktails are also extremely bland, with from the taste of it, zero alcohol. I must give credit to the lovely staff, who are attentive and friendly. Overall, I'm baffled how this place has a Michelin star and so many positives reviews. The prices are astronomical for the portions you receive, which I would happily pay if I was receiving quality food.”

  “I really recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants to try Spanish food. The food is delicious and reasonably priced for the city centre. All the staff are welcoming and friendly, and the service and atmosphere are great.”

  “Absolutely fantastic from start to finish, the staff are friendly and helpful and you feel right at home, and then the food comes and you are completely blown away with flavour. The lamb and the hangar steak were my standouts but everything is sublime. Make sure to leave room for the desserts”

  “We had a lovely time here. It was recommended to share, so we got 5 dishes and a dessert. The food was so good and felt like a special experience. Our waiter even recommended that we try a sangria with Rosé wine, a choice that wasn't even on the menu!”
