“It was our first time in Belfast, and we just got back from our tour of the Giant’s Causeway. It was already early evening and we were a bit famished. Our tour drop off was near the train station and we found this Filipino restaurant near the area. They didn’t have a lot of options on the menu, but we were able to pick some familiar favourites. And they tasted as expected, except for the lumpia adobo, that was an interesting choice to make. It wasn’t to my liking, but it may work for others. I guess you have to try it for yourself to find out. It was a pleasant experience, the chef/owner’s mom came to see us as we were finishing and we learned they were not only fellow Filipinos, but fellow Canadians as well! I’m hoping they add more dishes like Sinigang and Kare-Kare. It’s a great location and opportunity to introduce Filipino cuisine in that part of the world.”
