  “Personally one of the best meals of my life. When I walked in with my uncle, we had not booked but they quickly got us a table. The service was excellent from start to finish. We had multiple waiters and all were very attentive! I had the Korean fried pork belly with Asian salad and sesame, this was an excellent start the pork was rich with a great sauce and the salad was perfect with the pork as it cut through the richness perfectly. For main I had 12oz Dry aged Ribeye which personally one of the best steaks I’ve ever had. It was cooked to perfection. The flavour was out of this world. The steak was accompanied by beef dripping chips which were some of the best I’ve personally ever had. I had the bearnaise sauce which was great but my uncle had the blue cheese which was incredible”

  “Meatlocker is definitely a place to go for quality food and an atmosphere that lets you be who or what you want to be... There are very few Top Quality Restaurants that let you be.. You can be as lavish as you like or as budget limited as you like! However, this place really needs a Michelin Star because the food is impeccable! But for me...it is the service that you get! Robin, or Rubin was a credit to the restaurant. His knowledge and table service demeanor outstrips many Michelin Start Restaurants I've been in. The starter of Scallops were very light and flavoursome! The ribeye steak is beyond expectations! It really was cooked to perfection... In an area crowded by places to eat and dine with a loved one or even friends.... If you ever struggle to find somewhere to eat in Belfast!!!!! This is the place... Side note: their wine list is a perfect accompaniment to any dining experience. 11 out of 10 for sure..”

  “Had a meal here with family this week and I would thoroughly encourage anyone to try it. From entering, we received a warm and friendly welcome. The service throughout was personalised, attentive and friendly. The food was beautiful and the attention to detail by service and kitchen staff did not go unnoticed. Thank you to the team for making this a lovely evening for us.”

  “Myself and a friend visited here 01/05/26 for the early bird menu. I'd been before but not recently so was interested to see if there were positive changes and wasn't disappointed. This menu is three course and listed at £25pp. We added homemade breads before the starter and they were delicious. We both opted for salad but soup was available. My friend took the steak & I chose monkfish scampi, which had the lightest of batter and a quite magical tartare sauce. We both had blue cheese dessert and washed it down with a bottle of Syrah. I can say it was flawless. The staff were professional and given it was Friday, there weren't many dining at lunchtime. Highly recommend.”

  “It's not often i give a full 5 stars for everything (food, service and atmosphere) but this restaurant gets the full stars. A great location not far from City Hall so easy to find. Staff are super friendly and helpful (we had a person who has several allergies and yet the staff took the time to go through everything on the menu) The food was delicious, all our choices were beautifully made. We ordered a bottle of their house Prosecco and Sauvignon, both were fresh and crisp and tasted like bottles double the price. 3 of my guests hadn't been before but now can't wait to go back again.”

  “Lovely relaxing atmosphere service and food definitely 5 star ⭐ We both had rump steak we asked for cooked well done and tasted beautiful. The staff very helpful and polite. I highly recommend Deanes we will most definitely call back again I only took photos of the my desert, 'crème burlee'. You will see how beautifully it was presented and just as beautiful in taste”

  “Had a blast of a great dinner. The grass feed filet was purely amazing, as well the marrow bone. Only remark is the desert, which did not meet my expectations as per the descriotion, but the quality was nevertheless very high level and the cake was tasty. The restaurant is a bit loud, especially during weekend.”

  “Wow! The meal was beautiful and so was the service. For the price, I’d say the portions were generous! The service was incredible, at no point were we left thirsty or with dirty dishes on the table. Very attentive and happy staff which always makes the experience that much more enjoyable. Menu was fab, everything truffle.. right up my street. The host was very knowledgeable about bars to go to afterwards. He was very kind (and so was our server) and directed us to some other great places! The decor was so interesting to us, very 2000’s posh compared to Dean’s next door. All part of the experience :) Thanks!”
