Customer Review Summary

Reviewers return most for the tofu scramble, served on toast or in a soda bread sandwich, and describe a fully vegan menu that several visitors on holiday came back to for breakfast two days running. Close behind are the smokey beans on toast, the Filled Soda Bread, the Potato Bread Stack, and the vegan bacon sandwich and sausages. The Irish stew, soup of the day and a dahl described as "class" also draw praise. Coffee, including espresso and cold brew, is called great, and the matcha latte and kale smoothies get mentions. On the sweet side, reviewers single out the peanut butter balls, cinnamon rolls and cakes. Staff are repeatedly called friendly, and portions are described as generous and reasonably priced. The main complaint comes from one reviewer who found the stew of the day not very good and was puzzled by a sweet and sour style sauce served with a sandwich and tortilla chips. Another found a chunky sourdough chickpea sandwich tasty but impractical to eat. Several reviewers finish with a peanut butter ball, one of them taking it away to eat later.

“Great plant based eatery in Belfast city centre. Gluten free, vegan and dog friendly. We’ve had the tofu scramble, the Irish stew and the soup of the day. The kale smoothies are also pretty special as are the cakes! The peanut butter ball is GF and highly recommended!!!”

“As a vegan on holiday, I ended up coming here two days in a row for breakfast. The coffee, both espresso and cold brew, was great and the price of food was extremely reasonable. Their tofu is seriously good both on toast and in their soda bread sandwich, and their beans had a great flavour as well. The staff were also very friendly, and the place itself had a very creative and laid back vibe. Will be back if I end up in Belfast again!”

“I love having somewhere close to my work and city center that is guaranteed to have a great vegan option. The dahl in particular is class. I've had a chickpea sandwich before which wasn't practical to eat given the chunky sourdough but it was tasty. Coffee is great, space is vast and plenty of room to sit with a book too.”

“Incredible food with great vibes, lots of options and a really thoughtful plant based menu. I’m here a few times a week and the staff are very friendly and helpful. There are different breakfast and lunch menus, as well as a variety of milkshakes/smoothies/ unique coffee flavours and a bakery with sweet treats. Definitely a must if you are in Belfast!”

“Stopped by today for breakfast for the first time - we could definitely get used to a fully vegan menu! The food we tried was lovely (especially the cinnamon rolls!), lovely coffee and very friendly staff. Can't wait to try more of the menu the next time we are in Belfast!”
