About Cultura

On Gilnahirk Road in Belfast, Cultura is a coffee shop with a menu of 54 items built around espresso drinks like the latte. Vegetarian options are limited to a couple of dishes, with porridge among them, and vegan dishes can be made on request even though none are listed separately. It runs on a walk-in basis rather than reservations, and the counter staff take time to talk through the menu and coffee choices before orders go in. Outdoor seating suits those who want to eat outside, and high chairs make it workable for families with young children. A step-free entrance allows access for visitors with mobility needs, and dogs are welcome throughout. The shop opens daily for daytime hours only. Takeaway is also available for those eating off site.

Customer Review Summary

Reviewers consistently single out the coffee as the standout, with the Tokyo Toast's oat milk latte and a cream doughnut coffee both singled out as exceptional, alongside praise for artisanal selections and the "marry me eggs." The Tokyo Toast itself draws repeated attention for its poached eggs and balanced spice. Brunch and breakfast come up often as strong points, and several reviewers mention staff going out of their way, from crafting a vegan special not on the menu to warmly welcoming dogs. Close behind the food is a recurring note on atmosphere, described as warm, cosy and relaxed enough for a solo coffee or a catch-up. One reviewer, though, found service slow and inattentive on a busy Saturday, noting no one cleared plates until they'd gotten up to pay, and also flagged limited vegetarian options beyond porridge. Despite that, diners repeatedly mention returning multiple times, with one going back the same day for a second cream doughnut coffee.

Such a lovely little café with a really warm, welcoming atmosphere. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive without ever feeling overbearing. I have been here twice now and both times, the whole experience felt relaxed and personal. The food was absolutely delicious, clearly made with care, and everything tasted fresh and well thought out. It’s also such a cute spot, perfect for a cosy catch-up or a quiet coffee. What made it even more special was how kind they were to my dog, genuinely lovely and accommodating. The only down side is that they don't stay open late! I’ll definitely be coming back.

How this listing is sourced

Where the data comes from
Name, address, hours, contact details, amenities, ratings and review counts come from the business's publicly available profile data — not from the owner and not from paid submissions.
How it stays current
Every listing is re-checked on a recurring crawl, and anything reported as wrong is corrected at the source rather than patched on the page.
How it is ranked
Placement is never sold. Every business on the page is ordered and compared using the same public signals, so an owner cannot pay to move up.
