Customer Review Summary
Pizza is the clear draw, with reviewers singling out the shredder and a spicy pepperoni-style option, plus a pizza of the month that varies the regular menu. Several call the pizzas great or sensational, and one notes they reached the finals of the national pizza awards. Close behind are the craft beers, with one reviewer rating the Bass Drop highly, and the mac and cheese, chicken wings and a curry, each praised by a different reviewer. Service is described as friendly, quick and relaxed, and live music during a meal drew praise. The criticism is split. One reviewer found the bar staff rude and said the small car park is always full and staff block cars in. Another called the pizzas merely okay rather than award winning and was bothered by children crowding the beer garden, though they liked that dogs are welcome. One reviewer suggests reserving a table because it gets busy, and another praises the Monday two-for-one deal.

“Pizza was good but the staff are rude especially the girl with the piercing behind the bar, awful attitude and service. Was a better pub a few years ago but seems to of gone massively down hill, car park is small and always full and even if you park there you will get blocked in by the staff that work there!!”

“Great pizzas. Different variations to what you would normally order, but they all work. Service was great from the guys there.”

“Visited with my partner and his parents as we’ll be moving to the area & lunch here made us very glad we’ll be living nearby! Warm and friendly service, amazing beer (bass drop is 10/10) and the food was sensational. One of the best pizzas I’ve had. We will definitely be back!”
