Customer Review Summary
Reviewers split on this Wetherspoons. Several praise friendly staff and hot breakfast food served on hot plates, and one enjoyed an Angelo Poretti in a vintage-style interior. The complaints are blunt: one reviewer waited at the bar for a coffee before the machine failed, and tables sat full of glasses and plates. One was refused service for walking in laughing.

“Only gave a 1 as you can’t leave a 0!!!! Absolute joke - refused service by a young barmaid because we walked in laughing!!!! Licensee of a local pub that has closed early so went for a drink after a 14 hour shift to be refused!!!! Staff training needs updating - no wonder it’s always dead!!!!”

“This was a great pub to stop for a drink, with a vintage creamy yellow interior! Different lights are welcoming and Crich stand is a historic feature on the wall, counter has a neat presentation with green and white lights from the wood. Enjoyed an Angelo Poretti at a cosy chair to sit back on, this Spoons feels a bit lacking in terms of cleanliness though.”
