“Stopped in here after work for food, it was amazing. Been in there a few times in the last two weeks. Food was tasty, hot and plentiful. I was in early evening so a bit quiet. But the staff were friendly.”

“So Alfreton pubs ARE as bad as they say. Don't bother visiting here unless you condone abhorrent, racist behaviour as that's the kind of 'craic' the owners and management of this pub have and are proud of. Shame on you!”

“Booked a table for 12 noon. Got there at 11.50am, place locked and car park looked deserted. Other people arrived at 12, they kept trying the door, still locked, so we all sat in the car park waiting for someone to open the place. Eventually, we left, we didn't want to waste anymore of our time. Not a very good experience if they can't even be bothered to open up on time for your customers. We were very disappointed as we were really looking forward to trying the new Hawthorns 😕”

“Awful place, feet stick to the floor its that dirty and smells like foist, wet dog and urine. It stinks just like the attitude of the staff. Especially Rosie and her partner who run the place. If I could give it less than one stars, I would.”
