  “The service was absolutely outstanding from start to finish. The staff were professional yet incredibly friendly, making me feel as though they genuinely cared about ensuring I chose the right food. They were more than happy to answer all my questions and queries, taking the time to help me without ever making me feel rushed. The table service was equally impressive. Our food arrived in a timely manner, and the staff regularly checked that we were enjoying our meal without ever being overbearing or intrusive. As for the food, it was simply stunning! My steak was cooked to absolute perfection, and I couldn’t have asked for better. The entire experience, from the moment we walked through the door to the moment we left, was exceptional. The professionalism, attentiveness and genuine kindness of Lindsay and Lorraine made the whole visit truly memorable. An outstanding experience all round, and a huge credit to the entire team. I would highly recommend it!”

  “We had such an amazing time this morning, staff were amazing and the chef was bang on with the food, the value for money was great, £10 a ticket including food and drink for the children is super cheap!! The whole morning was great and as a family with 1 toddler and a baby it worked great for us, staff got us a high chair and was very helpful throughout, would 100% book the next one.”

  “Really impressed with the Mundy Arms. We had a really fun morning at the Toybox Breakfast with our little boy, where we met Woody, Buzz and Jessie who were amazing with all the kids. The staff were amazing, super chatty and accommodating to make sure the morning went smoothly. Would 100% attend again and recommend to friends with kids too!”

  “Can't rate this place enough, we pop in as a family a couple times a month when cooking seems to much effort. The food never disappoints, the price and deals are purse friendly and the staff are always so friendly and nothing is ever too much trouble!”

  “We booked in for a birthday meal and had extra guests we had not counted for. Thanks to the team they managed to accommodate! We were super grateful. Staff are friendly and happy to have a laugh and engage. Food was delicious and service was efficient. Thank you for a wonderful visit. Shout out to Tracey (your banter is on top form) and to Lindsey for a wonderful time.”

  “I love this pub, which is usually great value and nice food. Unfortunately last night 9 of us went to Curry Night for our sons 16th birthday, and by just 630pm, they had already run out of curry. Only 2 of us got a curry, and the rest of party had to re-select from remaining menu. I'd say great pub, but please ensure you have stock to honour the special menus on each day.”

  “The only thing I can say is that we were both disappointed. The worst meal out this year. My wife had a rump steak that was as tough as old boots and undercooked. You could not cut it with the supplied steak knife. It's times like this you wish you had your trusty angle grinder with you. She also had onion rings that were also undercooked and still doughie. My food was edible but not enjoyable. If you go to eat out and it's a quality place and you leave your food. They will show concern and ask why you have not eaten your food. Not here. No one asked us if we were having a good meal and was not going to clear the table until we were gone. The menue is mainly beige deep fried food full of rapeseed oil. Not healthy food at all. I only gave it any stars at all because the staff were pleasant enough and the atmosphere was OK. Nothing for the food at all. UPDATE one year later. We took the grandchildren to the Santa's Breakfast and we ordered two English breakfast for the adults. Must be the worst breakfast ever! The eggs where snotty and not cooked, the sausages smelt horrible and look anaemic and undercooked. I did try eating a little and it was terrible. The bacon was dry, the ash browns where greasy. We didn't eat it. The staff asked the table next to us if everything was ok. They looked at our table two times and could see we had not eaten ours and said nothing, just like the last time. On their response to this email they said they would take it on board and then learn by it. They have obviously learnt nothing.”

  “Me and my mother have been coming here for years, But in all these years we have never ever had a meal ever like the one we had on this occasion We both ordered the New York chicken with fries and peas,1 with no barbecue sauce and mine in a little pot on the side.Nearly 30 mins later our meals came out by a waitress who didn't really look like she wanted to be there....Well me and my mum just looked at each other in disbelief, the chicken was black around the edges and also under the cheese, not because of any barbecue sauce as I had it in a small pot.i cut into the chicken,it was so hard and dry, my mum said exactly the same ,it actually looked like someone's left over chicken which originally had barbecue sauce on it then had cheese topped on it again and grilled again and again and the cheese in the bottom of the dish was totally different to the cheese over the chicken (i really would like an answer why it was black around the chicken) i did get one tiny piece of bacon on top of the chicken which had a tiny piece of melted cheese on it which also looked out of place (totally different to the cheese around my chicken).My mum didn't get any bacon at all on her chicken and i thought it was supposed to come with bacon wrapped around it..Now the fries,,were they somebody's left overs and fried up again because i really would like an explanation to why some of the fries were black ,hard and inedible ever served,,some of the fries were just small pieces ,it really had made me think what goes off in these kitchens(the thought of it makes me feel sick) and just looking at the pictures makes me feel sick. These plates of food should of been served straight in the BIN. I had to go to the bar and tell the barman/manager about our meals, i asked him to come and have a look at our meals, He did ask us if we wanted something else but we said no and I asked for a refund..I was offered a full refund by the chap who acted very professional . I think they definitely need new staff or retraining . The food may be cheap and cheerful here but we got disgusting and inedible ,we not be going here again or in the near future. ..ive sent 2 emails and both have come back as being ...undelivered”

  “Popped in for a simple Sunday lunch and quite happily cleaned the plate. Carrots were very soft and the serve time roast on a Sunday was a bit slow (but they work off a full menu) that's all I can moan about. Atmosphere was very relaxed and peaceful. Value is great with £/quality/quantity a winner. I didn't take a great deal of notice about accessibility for disabled but the area seemed to flow nicely but some areas might be tricky. Overall I would recommend”
