  “Clean establishment. Standard prices, not too expensive. I stood waiting for four minutes before staff made eye contact then they walked away without a word. Came back a minute later and served a table.They then mucked about with menus and looked if I was still waiting before asking what they could do for me. A simple acknowledgement and, "I'll be with you in a moment", would have been friendlier and more professional. Went back for a second pint and there was another chap waiting. Same thing, they looked at both of us and just walked on. I asked if this was normal service and he stated it was normal two young lads working. I'll give the pub another try but it really doesn't hurt to acknowledgement paying customers and let them know you will be with them in a moment.”

  “We had a reasonable roast meal here at a good price. Service was decent, drinks were fine. Pretty much what you'd expect from a chain pub doing its job. An extra positive. Fast (75kw) EV charger in car park. Evyve charge 48p/kwh at weekends, so good value too. A warning Pub doesn't open on Sat until 1130am, despite Greene King app and Google maps saying pub opens at 10 on Saturdays. Thought I'd have a, coffee while charging, but couldn't.”

  “A very enjoyable visit, very friendly and helpful staff. The food was filling, well cooked, used quality ingredients and was very reasonably priced. The pub was very busy, with a good mix of customers. I particularly enjoyed meeting some locally based, young Jamaicans who had clearly enjoyed the wide drinks offering.”

  “This totally strange when ALEX served us he said no big position of chicken wings no apology at all also he brought the small position of chicken wings on the table still mentioned that no delivery until 15:00 When i went to the Bar 15 minutes later i spoke to a lovely lady called Sara she said we do have chicken wings and i did order 3 big position So is this with two standards or Alex is Rude and Racist because we are foreign? Definitely this old man shouldn’t be behind the bar it looks like he is in the wrong job Thanks again Sara lovely Girl she deserves 5 Stars 🌟”
