About The Brewery Tap
On Ock St in Abingdon, The Brewery Tap is a country-style pub with live entertainment and a beer garden. The kitchen works from a 75-dish menu that includes homemade pies, with the Mediterranean Lamb Pie among them, and a Scotch egg with a runny yolk for something lighter. A Sunday roast is also on the menu. The bar pours a wide range of ales, craft beers and ciders on tap, with Guinness and a full bar alongside. Inside, wood fittings and separate rooms suit a long sit and a chat. Dogs are welcome.

“Met up with family for lunch here and had a great meal. No issues with the dogs and we had plenty of room to sit and chat. Nice beer here as well.”

“The grub here was great! Home cooked and well presented and tasty. Hats off to the chef(s)? Broad selection of beers and other tipples with tables filling quick and staff busy. Beef nachos were great using proper ingredients and not the plastic melted cheese, burgers were fab and meat pie delish. Defo worth a second visit to sample another dish off the menu!”

“Had a brilliant time visiting this spot in Abingdon recently. It is the perfect place to sit down and enjoy a relaxed meal with family. The atmosphere was lovely and welcoming. We were especially impressed with the quality of the food, particularly the scotch egg which was cooked to perfection with a beautiful runny yolk. Everything was served promptly and the drinks selection was great, too. We will definitely be back again soon.”

“Lunch on a sunny Saturday afternoon. Absolutely fantastic. We sat outside with beers to start off. The food is outstanding. Three in the party had the pies. Looked and tasted amazing! One had the beef brisket! Sublime. Overall a stunning experience for food, drink, service and atmosphere!”
