  “We had an absolutely fantastic meal here! They have loads of V / VG / GF / DF options and everything is well priced. I highly suggest the meze selection, we ordered the veg main course option and received at least 15 delicious dishes to share between 4 of us. I loved every single one, the food is absolutely delicious.”

  “I was really looking forward to this place, especially with dishes like patlican kizartma and Adana Kebap on the menu promising an authentic Turkish experience. Unfortunately, as a Turkish person, I left disappointed. The flavours were very bland and lacked the depth you expect from proper Turkish cuisine. The rice was dry and clumpy — honestly more like kebab van quality than a restaurant standard. The salad was also overwhelmed with mustard sauce, which completely overpowered the freshness you’d normally expect from a traditional Turkish salad. While the menu uses authentic Turkish names, the food itself does not reflect genuine Turkish taste or quality. Not to mention, i had a terrible heartburn after the food. Probably due to oil quality used to fry the aubergines! Staff was friendly !”

  “I highly recommend this restaurant in Aberdeen for food lovers who appreciate a delightful dining atmosphere. During my visit, I enjoyed a two-course dinner, starting with the Sucuk, which was absolutely delicious and set the perfect tone for my main course, the Mixed Kebab. Both the taste and portion size were excellent, and the staff provided friendly service. Update: I revisited the restaurant and, once more, I was delighted with the food and service!”

  “I dinned here on Tuesday evening. I ordered the lamb loin kebab. The kebabs were served with rice and salad. The rice portion was very small and there 3 pieces of lamb. The rice was also oily and tasted old. The lamb was cooked nicely.”

  “Because I was just passing by, I was attracted by the atmosphere inside the kitchen window. The staff also arranged a very comfortable location for us despite their busy schedule. The taste of the food, the atmosphere in the store, and the service attitude of the staff are very good and highly recommended.”

  “Lovely place, nice staff and really nice food. This is a nice little place not a huge amount of seating so book in advance from Thursday to Sunday. It's a simple menu but it has the classics and it's really tasty. The portions are not huge so I do recommend a starter + salad and main or main + pudding.”

  “This for me is the best, most consistent restaurant in Aberdeen. It has stood the test of time and for over a decade turned out some amazing dishes and flavours time and time again. The menu is relatively simple, which helps with ensuring the food is the star. Sara, Diane, and the team always keep things to a high standard and you know what you are going to get here. Price wise, I think it offers good value for money, the portions are just right, without being either too small or far too big which is a difficult thing to achieve nowadays.. more does not always mean better.. If you are in Aberdeen visiting, or if you live there and have never tried it, I strongly recommend you give it a try, you won't be disappointed.”

  “Guys. I'm begging you. Go. Here. Hands down the best meal I've had (apart from my mother's cooking, of course). Photos really don't do this justice. Just go. What are you waiting for???!! Thank me later (or rather, thank the chef later).”

  “Fantastic food. Lovely, informal venue. My only complaint would be that the was far too much! I was absolutely stuffed after the meze starter and main course. Reasonably priced as well, which is nice.”
