  “Really cool venue with excellent delicious food / menu. outstanding food —it was so hard to choose because everything sounded amazing.   “I absolutely adored Wild Goose! My husband and I visited on a weekend morning around 9:00 a.m. during our holiday, and it ended up being my favorite cafés of the trip. I ordered their Summer Special Iced Raspberry Matcha with honey lemon cold foam, and I still haven't found anything comparable now that we're back home. It was incredible! I had the Smoky Shakshuka with crispy chorizo, while my husband ordered The Estate Stack, and we were both very pleased with our meals. Before we left, I ordered the Strawberry & Basil Matcha Lemonade for takeaway, and they even bottled it for me, which was such a thoughtful touch. The view overlooking the park is also beautiful and makes the café an even more enjoyable place to relax. If I'm ever back in Aberdeen, I'll probably want to eat every meal here!”

  “Amazing food and cocktails, had the bread and butter benedict with salmon and the kimchi hash and both were fab, the kimchi was even made in-house and had slices of apple in it, it was fantastic! The cocktails were all fab as well, especially the haar in the meadow cocktail which was so refreshing - definitely recommend! Pretty much everything on the menu was locally sourced or made in-house which was really impressive. The service was amazing as well and the staff were really knowledgeable about the local ingredients and what goes into everything, and were very friendly too. We were served by Sarah and Milly who were super helpful, and later Rannoch and Milly helped us in getting a bottle of rum we were interested in. We will definitely be back!!!”

  “Came here for evening drinks only as the kitchen had closed for the night, the atmosphere was lovely and cosy, staff were incredibly nice and attentive. Drinks were also decently priced. Came back the next morning for brunch as was even more impressed with the food, portions were substantial and everything tasted great, especially the hash browns, super crispy. Would come back again.”

  “Came here in the evening and it was lovely, I had the hot salmon on toast and my partner had the lamb with pesto. Both dishes were gorgeous! The interior was stunning both inside and with the lovely view of Union Gardens. Servers were lovely and attentive.”

  “First time at the Wild Goose, and it didn't disappoint! Couldn't recommend it enough! We got a selection of "small plates". I'd recommend at least 5 for 2 people, as the "small plates" aren't that small. The langoustines, pork belly and hake were our favourites, but we enjoyed every single plate! The service was 10 out of 10!! From the moment we stepped in to the moment we left, the two ladies who served us were phenomenal, attentive and chatty! And for a Saturday night, it had a great buzz but wasn't too busy or overwhelmingly loud. We will absolutely be back!!”

  “Took my fiancée here on a date night for food and drinks. Service was excellent, atmosphere was fantastic with nice city views and live music. Food was outstanding and surprisingly the cauliflower dish was the star of the show having unbelievable flavour. Cocktails were also top tier. Highly recommend this place.”
