  “I come here often, it’s one of my favourite places to eat. Our server Ash was lovely to us, he welcomed us in with options of seating and took our order promptly. He made sure to take note of any substitutions and made sure we got everything we wanted. He was attentive all night and was polite to everyone near us too. He is a credit to the restaurant. It’s not too expensive but it’s not exactly cheap. However for the quality of the food, it’s an. understandable price. The pizza is always fresh and delicious, the pasta is always cooked wonderfully. I recommend the prawn starter, it’s beautiful.”

  “Lea was great. When our 3 year old was unreasonably demanding a “little fork” Lea sourced one for us and when also being asked by one of my children to go choose toppings themselves for their ice cream, Lea was happy to oblige. Great service, great offers and food everyone enjoyed which is rare for 2 picky young children.”

  “Had lunch here, ordered calzone, meat feast pizza, spicy sausage pasta and spaghetti bolognese which were all tasty, with the exception of the spaghetti which for an adult portion seemed small and sauce thin. Also the spicy sausage pasta could of done with some peppers or other veg in the dish . What completely let down the meal was the service from a very abrupt waiter. Definitely not in a rush to go back to be treated like this. Disappointed that service was rude after other good reviews on it.”

  “What a lovely meal we had here with our 2 small children. We partook of the “kids eat free” offer and the lovely Shaban made the experience top notch. Our children laughed so much at his jokes. They are still talking about how funny he was. Thank you for making an ordinary night a great time 🙏”

  “Wonderful place for a meal. Can’t beat the nine pound lunch special, there were great options for both food and drink. Wait staff were so pleasant and attentive. Ash asked about my food allergies when we sat down to ensure my meal was perfect for my dietary needs. Restaurant was also quaint, clean and welcoming. My husband and I will definitely be back soon.   “My and my friends came with our mums for mine and my other friends birthday, and it was just amazing!! Our food was so tasty and good quality, our servers Lea and Steph were so kind and helpful. Me And my friends got happy birthday sang to us and it was great. I would 100% recommend to anyone who is wanting to come!!”

  “Came in to Bella Italia with my friend for a meal. We decided to get two mocktails each. They were fantastic, so nice and tasy! We have each ordered a main course which was pasta and a dessert. The pasta dishes were cooked perfectly. The sauce was really well seasoned and didn’t need anything else added to it. Would definitely recommend this place, we have each paid £36 which is really good for what we have ordered.”

  “Love this place - especially here in York. Booked online a few days back to ensure seats as York has been overcome by Zombies who have all lost their minds . In the bleak Yorkshire winter weather, they devour anything that has any signs of Christmas near it . Regardless of how much anything costs i, n this state these crazy folk , don't give a damn . Anyways back to the restaurant...service impeccable, food excellent especially the garlic butter fries with cheese in top ... order them as an accompaniment to your meal , delicious... lovely ambience considering 5.30 pm and the Zombie folk were packed in the streets like sardines devouring the whole of York and anything that stood in their way . Lovely meal .”
