Customer Review Summary
Reviewers most often single out the meat-free takes on meat dishes, naming the Meat Free Chilli Chicken, malai chicken tikka, kadai chicken, keema naan and a ch'ken biryani, with one saying the meat would not be missed. Close behind are the mango lassi, chilli mushrooms, malai kofta, kulcha chana and chilli momos, plus pani puri, tikki chaat and pakoras with tea. Diners describe food that is fresh, made to order and full of flavour, with friendly staff, a family-run feel and reasonable prices. The restaurant is called very clean and family friendly, and one visit included lollipops for the kids. The main complaint comes from a single reviewer who found the dahi puri chaat and papdi chaat poor, with too much sauce and yoghurt and no onions, tomatoes or sev. That reviewer also found the channa lacking seasoning and the noodles so so, though the aloo kulcha was fine. Another notes the place was quiet. Several mention huge portions, and a few families took leftovers home in a takeaway box.

“Went for a family dinner because we found a deal online, but we came back with full stomachs and a really wonderful experience! This was some of the best veggie / vegan meals I have ever had - special mention for the malai chicken tikka and malai kofta. The food was freshly made and the portion sizes are HUGE! We were completely stuffed and had to bring the rest of the meals home in a takeaway box. The naan and rice were also beautiful, and each curry had a distinct flavour, so you know it had been prepared separately rather than using a generic base. The owner and his family were also very lovely to chat to, and mentioned the community events they run here. Safe to say we'll be back and will bring our meat-eating family members too because this place has something for everyone!”

“Unbelievable selection of vegan options. Tasted delicious, very authentic. Mango lassi, rajma masla keema pea curry and ch'ken biryani were great”

We had the pakoras with tea, pani puri, juice, and tikki chaat, and every dish was amazing. The prices were very reasonable, making it great value for money. The restaurant is also very family-friendly. They even gave lollipops to the kids, which was such a thoughtful gesture and made the visit even more special. The staff were welcoming, and the overall atmosphere was warm and pleasant. I would definitely recommend Meat Free Planet to anyone looking for tasty vegetarian food and a great dining experience. Looking forward to visiting again!”
