  “On October 25, 2026, we had dinner at this indian restaurant. We ordered one chicken tikka, one butter chicken, one chicken tikka Masala, one chana masala, two servings of castration rice, one serving of garlic naan bread, and 2 glasses of white wine. First, all the dishes were excellent. The chicken servings was tender and tasty. The service staff were very polite. The restaurant manager explained the menu and took our order. The waitress was polite and professional. Overall the service was on point, professional, polite, and efficient. The atmosphere was fairly quite and relaxing. Overall we had an excellent dinning experience. The dishes are excellent and the prices are very reasonable. To Indian food lovers, I definitely recommend this restaurant 😋 Thank you”

  “I ordered Tarka Lamb Chops for starters which was beautifully seasoned and presented , there were plenty bones but the meat was there too . For the main course I ordered Lamb karahi with tandoor naan which was amazing in terms of the taste and overall quality. The staff was friendly and were there when needed.I highly recommend this venture for those who are looking for quality food in Wolverhampton.”

  “By far the best mixed grill if not restaurant in Wolverhampton. Ever since we found this place, we have never gone anywhere else for our pre match meal. Insane taste, fish is next level and really good value for money. Highly highly recommend”

  “Food was lovely, cooked and spiced to perfection. Staff were accommodating and friendly. Few rowdy patrons and I could hear every word they were saying over the TVs from the other side of the restaurant, staff noticed I was uncomfortable and asked if I was okay and promptly politely asked for them to be quieter. I'm autistic and I especially appreciated this level of care from staff. Lovely experience and will be returning next time I'm in the area”

  “In one word: WOW! To the management of The Mountain Bar and Grill: Please give your front-of-house staff and the chef a pay raise—they are absolute assets to your business. 1 - First time visiting, upon approaching the bar to order some beers, chilled glasses were provided—what a nice touch in this day and age when hardly anyone bothers anymore. It makes a big difference. 2 - The waiting and bar staff were conscientious, friendly, and attentive. I was truly impressed. Reading so many reviews on Google, I've seen countless other places have their experiences ruined by miscommunications, rude staff, or employees who just look like they don't want to be there. Customers notice these things. I don't know how you hire your staff at The Mountain, but the two front-of-house members were amazing and really added to the whole dining experience when I visited on 25/08/2024. It's the kind of service that makes people want to come back time and again. They made customers feel so welcome, and the smiles—something that staff seem to have forgotten in most places these days—how refreshing is that? 3 - The food/Chef: After dining at so many local places in Wolverhampton, I now put The Mountain at the top of my list. Everything we ordered not only exceeded expectations but, compared to every bar, grill, or restaurant I've visited (in my opinion), the food was simply better than all of them. The expert blend of spiciness, warmth, and fragrance were all very well balanced. Your chef has an excellent palate—I would guess they taste before serving because this consistency was evident across all the dishes. Even the yogurt dip was one of the best I've tasted. It's a small thing, but all these details add up to enhance the dining experience. The evening consisted of Chicken Tikka Madras—savoury and spicy, with moist chicken, unlike some other places where the chicken is overcooked before being added to the sauce. The Bombay Aloo was fragrant and had a deep warmth, with chunks of fluffy potatoes. Often, Bombay Aloo has a tinned potato taste—waxy and slightly brined—but yours tasted fresh. It was excellent. The Fish Pakoras looked like mini fish & chips, with the best-looking pakora I've seen—super thin batter and huge slices of fish (the missus was super happy). The chicken wings had a very pronounced grilled, smoky taste—again, the missus was super happy. They were the best wings I have tasted at any desi grill, and I have been to nearly all of them. 4 - Décor, has a more restaurant feel but casual and relaxed and definitely not trying to upsell themselves by going bristro. Definitely one of the nicer places to dine and way classier than the run-of-the-mill desi grills with the sticky tables and crazy loud TV blasting out football. Very nice touches throughout. In Wolverhampton, where there are numerous sports bars, desi grills, Indian restaurants, and takeaways, it has got to be one of the toughest places to open yet another bar and grill serving more curries and wings. The fact that The Mountain has impressed me so much tells me that there is a lot of care and attention put into this place—something other establishments have not matched, from what I’ve seen. Please don't change a thing at The Mountain—it's pretty much perfect right now. To anyone else reading this, I say please try The Mountain if you haven't already. I was happy with my local, but The Mountain blew them out of the water. It's another level altogether, from the moment you walk through the door to the moment you walk out, commenting on how good the food was. The Mountain has elevated the desi game in Wolverhampton. Flawless experience. Well done, guys—keep up the good work and congrats!”

  “We've seen this being refurbished for the last 6 months and finally tried it. Can't fault it in any way. Great service, very friendly staff and quick at taking orders. Some of the best Indian food we've had. Great selection, and well stocked range of drinks at the bar. The atmosphere and decor is top notch, highly recommend. The food was great value, delicious and the portions were very generous and well presented.”
