Customer Review Summary
Service and value draw the recurring complaints. One diner was served the wrong order, said they were ignored and told they had ordered incorrectly, then had the meal swapped with no apology, and also found sticky tables. Another received a chicken wrap instead of a burger, and the replacement burger was just the wrap's three tenders in a bun. Others say they had to fetch their own cutlery and sauces and ask for menus. Several call the prices high, including a takeaway large pizza that put one longtime customer off ordering. One finds the chicken too salty and burnt, and parking is described as tight when cars sit outside the bays.

“Food was great! Generous portion size. Went at lunch time and wasnt too busy to worry about getting a table. Nice spacious clean place and staff were really friendly. Would recommend to family and friends”

“Food service was absolutely absymal. There were only 2 other tables occupied when we arrived. 2 other tables hadn't been cleared. I asked for a table to be cleared so we could sit at it. Comfier chairs near the window. The waitress brought over a bottle of sprite, then went back for a glass, then came back over to clear the table next to us at a snails pace. The food order was wrong, when I went over to tell them I was ignored whilst they cleared another table. I was then told that I was wrong and didn't order what I ordered. Meal was then swapped over and this meant that I didn't eat at the same time as my child. No appology, just the food dumped / slammed in front of me. Tables were sticky. Overall the venue was nice, Food was okay - the burger and wrap fell apart making them difficult to eat but the waitressing staff were useless. I don't like calling staff out like this, but they were terrible.”

“This is similar with Nando’s but with a few more options. I liked that the portions were big, but too salty and the chicken was too burnt. I would say Nando’s is better unfortunately…”

“We always enjoy the food here. Can be pricey when dining but the food quality warrants the price. I love the peri wraps. Children portions are excellent.”

“I've been going to grill-it for years, I'd rate much higher as good quality and taste is great but recently shocked by the price of the food when I wanted to order take away. One large pizza for £35 is way to much, the price of other food items also seems unjustifiable. Needless to say I didn't order.”
