About One Shot Café

One Shot Café is a family-run cafe on High St in Wolverhampton, serving through the day from Tuesday to Sunday and closed Mondays. The menu includes a Full English Breakfast and a Vegetarian Bap, alongside the Mexican Benny as a stand-out plate. Tea comes served in pots with more than one cup, and homemade lemonade sits alongside the wider tea and coffee range. Takeaway cake is available for those eating off site. Customer Review Summary

Full English Breakfast is the dish reviewers name most, with a father and son ordering it alongside a pot of tea and cake to take away, and another diner pairing it with a Vegetarian Bap on a courtyard visit with their dog. Close behind, the Mexican benny gets a direct recommendation from one reviewer, and the homemade lemonade, a sausage and a "pupchino" for a dog, the cappuccino and a fluffy latte come up as highlights. Reviewers describe a family-run cafe with a wide choice of teas and coffees, and a menu that covers traditional breakfasts and dishes for vegetarians and vegans. Food arrives quickly and hot, even for a table of six who phoned about an hour ahead and were fitted in. Staff are called friendly, welcoming and attentive, and the space is described as clean. One reviewer notes that cards are taken but cash is preferred. Several mention seeing familiar faces on return visits, and a few first-timers say they will be back.

“The cafe is tucked into Albrighton High Street. There’s a large car park 20 metres away. It’s family-run and you can tell. The coffee is excellent and there are at least 50 options for tea and coffee. The menu includes traditional breakfasts and more up-to-date dishes for vegetarians and vegans. The food is freshly-cooked with quality ingredients, but you don’t wait forever. Whenever we go we see familiar faces - always a good sign. Recommended.”

“We absolutely love One Shot Cafe. Visited today with our dog and sat out the back in the courtyard. I had the Vegetarian Bap, my husband had the Full English Breakfast and Bernie had a sausage and a pupchino! We also tried the homemade Lemonade which was divine in this gorgeous weather. All of the staff are so amazing, friendly, accommodating and go the extra mile to make sure your visit is the absolute BEST! Thank you Kat, Hassan and all the wonderful team at One Shot Cafe”

“First visit today for brunch, friendly welcome, freshly squeezed orange pots of tea with more than one cup in them and the fluffiest latte I've ever had. The food was presented beautifully, by attentive staff. The dishes are not run of the mill they tasted amazing. Four adults went and we were very satisfied. We will visit again most definitely.”

“I visited One Shot on Sunday morning for breakfast with a table of six. We hadn’t booked but phoned about an hour beforehand, and luckily they were able to accommodate us. We all ordered different meals and expected a bit of a wait, but it was the complete opposite - we were really surprised at how quickly the food came out. Everything was absolutely delicious and served hot. The drinks were also very nice. The owners and staff are lovely 😊”
