Customer Review Summary
The full English breakfast is what reviewers raise most, with the sausages called delicious and one diner naming it the best in a long time. Close behind are the hot chocolates and cappuccinos, plus seasonal drinks like the gingerbread latte and strawberry white chocolate matcha. Desserts also get mentions, including a cheesecake and takeaway cakes, and a jacket potato is praised as plentiful. Families single out the children's menu, highchairs, and a shelf of books and toys. Several describe friendly staff, and one says a separate grazing board was prepared for halal and egg-free needs. Some find prices steep, with one paying a lot for a single egg with mushrooms on sourdough and another noting oily fried mushrooms on the full breakfast. One table of six waited about an hour with no drinks offered, and food arrived one order at a time. One reviewer suggests booking ahead, after finding the cafe busy and arriving breakfast hot and prompt.

“Fantastic breakfast and brunch spot which is reasonably priced! They have some great special options for both food and drinks, we opted for the gingerbread latte and the strawberry white chocolate matcha both 10/10. Full to the brim and will definitely be returning 😋🍁🎃🍂🤎”

“Moms!! This is such a lovely place to go and eat and especially for moms, baby friend and especially toddler friendly. They have a bookshelf of toys and books to keep them entertained and they have baby changing facilities as well as a toddler step and toilet seat which is a game changer! Service is fantastic and all round lovely place.”

“The staff are so lovely and the food is delicious. Great kids menu too which my 3 year old really enjoyed. The portions are generous. I will definitely be there again soon”

“I didn’t get to taste my food, waited for an hour, no one came to update, or ask if we wanted some drinks, food came one order at a time, table of 6 so we couldn’t even eat together! Sad thing is the food looked great, but such a terrible experience with the wait, and the service. We were put in a corner outside, and there just was no service in that area! What a let down!”

“We visited this lovely café for an event, and Carole went above and beyond to make sure we were well looked after. My sister-in-law and I follow a halal diet, and she also has an egg allergy. Carole thoughtfully prepared a separate grazing board that was suitable for both a halal and egg-free diet, which we really appreciated. The cheesecake was absolutely delicious too! The care, attention to detail, and warm hospitality made our experience even more special. We'll definitely be coming back again with the whole family. Highly recommended!”
