Customer Review Summary

The caveats come from the busier visits and a change in direction. One Saturday midday diner waited over half an hour for food, and another long-time customer says the menu has gone upmarket, replacing classic dinners and gooey desserts with wraps, baguettes, soup and cakes, with higher prices and a loss of friendly character. Even so, that reviewer notes the proceeds go to a charity.

“Nice little venue for coffee and a snack. We had a toasties which was oozing with 3 varieties of melted cheese. All your coffee shop and cafe breakfast and brunch favourites, Well prepared and at a decent price. There is seating inside and out, with some little huts for privacy or if the weather is not great. Was quite busy when we visited at mid day on a Saturday, and the couple on the next table were suffering from a lack of volume control on their conversation, that they insisted on sharing with everyone else. As it was busy, the service was a little slow as we waited for over 30 mins for our food to arrive. But it was worth it and we will definitely return.”
