About Tunwalls English Kitchen
Tunwalls English Kitchen is a family-run cafe in Wolverhampton, housed in an old building at 19 Victoria St. Cakes and sweet treats sit along the counter, including a lemon drizzle cake made in house alongside other homemade cakes and bakes. Breakfast covers a big breakfast, a small veggie version with halloumi, an omelette and muffin breakfasts. The toast sandwich can be customised with a choice of breakfast items. Later in the day the menu moves to hot or cold sandwiches, burgers and soup, with fish and chips for a fuller plate. Coffee, mocha and a selection of teas cover the drinks. The team serves customers at the table.

Customer Review Summary
Breakfast is the main draw at this Wolverhampton cafe, with reviewers pointing to the big breakfast, a muffin breakfast, a breakfast omelette and a small veggie breakfast that comes with halloumi. Close behind are lunch plates such as scampi with chips and mushy peas, fish and chips, and a Hunters chicken or cheese burger with caramelised onion chutney, all described as cooked perfectly and generous in portion. Coffee gets repeated praise, including one reviewer who calls the mocha the best they have had, and the in-house lemon drizzle cake also earns a mention. Prices are called reasonable, modest and good value, and the staff are consistently described as friendly, with table service and check-ins on meals. Reviewers also like the old building and the counter of cakes. No recurring complaint appears. One diner says they will book a table next time because the cafe is so popular, and another describes a Christmas game with pudding baubles hidden around the room that wins free drinks when all four are found.
