  “Loved the food, service and the atmosphere. We sat outside and enjoyed the nice weather and enjoying seeing other people.😂 We ordered vegetarian rigatoni, Margherita pizza, garlic baguettes and garlic prawns. The pasta was the best, and so garlic breads and the prawns. The pizza was also very nice as my kids loved it but for Italian restaurant it could be improved a little, maybe neopolitan style. Would stop here again if I visit again. Overall 5 out of 5.”

  “The food was exquisite. Tasted good. Looked good. Large portion size. Yes still leaves you wanting more. What more could you ask for? The inside and out was decorated very nicely. The staff were very polite and very efficient. Even the lavatory was decorated to a super high standard.”

  “Myself and partner along with a couple of friends stopped off to have a bite to eat, we was standing outside trying to read the menu on the wall which was a little difficult due to other patrons siting near it as we didn’t want to disturb them, one of the staff saw us struggling and offered us a menu to have a look though which we was very greatful for, After making the choice to eat here we walked in and was shown to a really lovely seated area on the upstairs outside balcony which was beautiful especially on the hot day. Within a couple of minutes of being seated another staff member brought us all a cold glass of water each and gave us all a menu each. Two of us ordered a meal each while me and my partner ordered a meat pizza to share, when the gentleman saw we were sharing he brought us another plate to make it easier. The whole experience was amazing we felt so welcome from the moment the one gentleman saw us out side trying to read the walled menu, the food was delicious and was bought to the table very quickly and the balcony seating was beautiful. I sadly forgot to take any photos of the food and drinks but my friend did take a photo of the lights on the balcony we was on, so I’ll post that here.”

  “Absolutely fantastic food. I just had the King Prawn Linguine (24/06/26). Genuinely one of the tastiest pasta dishes I’ve ever eaten. Staff are pleasant, efficient and courteous. Highly recommended if you like good Italian food.”

  “Really good choice if you fancy an Italian in Windermere. You can't book and they don't reply to messages sent via their web site but we tried them anyway. Got a seat on the first floor. By the balcony are the best seats if you drop on. Good choice on the menu and reasonable prices. Quick service. They add a 10% service charge to the bill. Place has a really nice atmosphere and trendy decoration and furniture. Overall happy to recommend we had a great meal.”

  “Overall food quality is great with delicious meat ball and pasta. The service from the first night we visited was amazing. However, on the second day, there was a piece of plastic in my pasta (see final picture) that almost chipped my tooth. We did not like how the waiter handled the situation. He just responded coldly that we could change the plate if we liked. We politely refused as we just over halfway through the plate and didn’t want to waste food. That was it from the waiter, no apology, no follow up, no offer of anything over the inconvenience (even a lolly would’ve helped). We originally returned because of the great experience we had the first time. Now we will seriously reconsider if we return, and will caveat it when we refer friends and family.”

  “While exploring the top part of Windermere, we decided to stop off at Cafe Italia for a coffee and a piece of cake. The gentleman at the door, was super polite and seated us straight away on one of the tables outside, with the weather being nice. We ordered two cappuccinos and a flat white, along with three slices of gluten free vanilla cheesecake. The coffees were great and the presentation of our cheesecakes was fab! However, I was a little taken aback by the bill when heading inside to pay, coming to almost £40! Personally I feel almost £40 for three coffees and three slices of cheesecake (which were store bought and not homemade) is a bit extortionate. I also wasn't aware (or informed when paying the bill), of the 10% service charge). I could maybe understand if this was added for a party of more than five, but for three people? A bit naughty really. We didn't look at the menu so if this was stated there, then I stand corrected. I'm not sure we'd return again though, as there are other cafes, where the bill isn't almost £40 just for coffee and cake (and where there's no service charge added).”

  “Amazing and welcoming service, even when it's busy. We were sat on the balcony on second floor, which was heated and shielded from the rain - what a treat! We shared a pizza for lunch, very delicious and came fairly quickly. The house white wine was tasty too, and overall had a fab time.”

  “We liked every plate except the desert, carrot cake and classic cheesecake, they didn’t taste as they should, for £8 each you expect more. The table size is minisculous! We were three and they put us in one, way not enough! The server was very busy and we had to ask for water every glass instead of getting a jar (because they don’t put it on the table since they don’t fit with the plates) The taste of the pasta and the pizza and the chicken were good! The sweet sauce that came with the chicken doesn’t belong there in our opinion. So overall, food was good, just beware of the desert, and the lack of space, and of water (small glasses with no jar on the table)”
