“An absolute must visit! A highlight of our day trip in Winchester, which turned out to be one of the best meals of our two-week holiday. Beautiful ambiance in a historic building. The food was superb and the service was exceptional. Very accommodating despite not having a reservation on a weekend afternoon. We were very fortunate to enjoy a meal in this setting! “What an iconic restaurant in the heart of Winchester. This place is absolutely steeped in history, with incredible interior decoration that feels both grand and wonderfully quirky. It has real character and atmosphere, making it a brilliant choice for a special occasion or memorable meal out. The food was outstanding - beautifully presented, full of flavour, and genuinely impressive. I honestly don’t know how this restaurant doesn’t have Michelin recognition. A fantastic experience from start to finish, and I will definitely be back!”
