Customer Review Summary

Diners most often single out the Turkish dishes, especially the menemen, which reviewers call outstanding and perfectly seasoned, alongside poached eggs with yogurt and a Turkish omelette. Pancakes come close behind, described as massive and a big hit. Others praise the falafel for not being dry, the hummus, tater tots with rosemary, thick milkshakes and tasty sausages. Reviewers describe the room as airy and bright with large windows, and repeatedly call the staff friendly. One parent says their autistic, fussy-eating daughter now loves going, and another says tweaks to orders were handled without fuss. The main complaint comes from one visitor who found prices higher than the out-of-date menus and online information suggested. They thought the big breakfast was basic, with average bacon and hash browns, and the takeaway coffee strong in a generic way. Another reviewer called a smoothie steep. Service is generally described as quick. One group who mentioned a son's birthday when booking were surprised with a huge slice of chocolate cake and a chorus of Happy Birthday.

“Breakfast, delicious. Pancakes, massive and delicious. Coffee, delicious. Staff, incredibly lovely. The chap who served us was incredibly welcoming and warm. When my son couldn't decide what he wanted (because he was overwhelmed with too many things he loved) the chap who served us was very understanding. The pancakes were a big hit. "hmm yes" was the response we got when we asked how are they. Too busy devouring them. Tater tots which you do not see enough on English menus were delicious, a little rosemary on them really was great. Cannot recommend this place enough.”

“What an amazing place ! The food is high quality! The staff are really helpful and friendly! You get a lovely family feel there. My daughter is autistic and in a wheelchair and very fussy with her food and also can be worried when we go and eat out. But the people are so lovely there she loves going and really enjoys their food and belive me that’s a massive for us because there a lot of places she will not eat at!!! I want to say a massive thank you to the staff for being so nice and working really hard and say to the owners you are doing an amazing of making the place that is fantastic on food and atmosphere. It really is very good food. I wish you lots of more buiness for the future.”

“I've eaten here a few times as a couple or within a small group of friends. Each time, we've been greeted with a warm smile and any changes to our orders have been accommodated without feeling like we were being fussy (I hate when places make you feel like an inconvenience for wanting to make tweaks to your food! Not here though). Lovely friendly staff and I like how airy and bright it feels, even when it's super busy you don't feel like your wedged up against other diners. I'm a full on coffee snob and have been pleasantly surprised by how nice the iced oat latte was when I tried it yesterday. Falafels were 👌🏼, not dry and crumbly like so many places do them! Hummus was 🤤 My partner thoroughly enjoyed his Turkish omelette.. did think £5.50 was quite steep for a smoothie but I think that's probably about average price for many places.. Good selection to the menu overall. Happy to support an independent, family run business in CF rather than another chain or terrible, generic coffee place (Costa, I'm looking at you 😑). ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐”
