  “We had an excellent experience on Father’s Day. Our table was ready when we arrived and menus were quickly distributed and drinks orders taken. We were delighted with every course and the men loved the Chateaubriand and declared it the best they had ever had. Although my Breton chicken was very tasty, I was a little disappointed that it was a huge half chicken and not the usual Cote cut of chicken cooked with Garlic Butter. Our server was Emily D and she was superb and nothing was too much trouble for her, she was polite, friendly and knowledgeable and I cannnot praise her enough as she managed a very busy restaurant with aplomb. Thank you Emily and Winchester Cote for a lovely experience.”

  “Outstanding! Could not have been better. We went to celebrate my birthday and my son and daughter have food allergies and coeliac disease. First and foremost we felt safe the whole time. Cote have always been good for dietary restrictions but. Dario and Sofiia, excelled themselves , they were so knowledgable and in control of everything and made our celebration! The food, setting and atmosphere were all excellent too! Thank you so much.”

  “Outstanding service from Harry (sorry hope that’s right) this morning felt so welcomed and the service was lovely and attentive. So genuinely friendly and welcoming. Food was excellent and served quickly there are so many lovely choices for all tastes, the atmosphere here is lovely and it’s all round such a lovely experience.”

  “Second time at Cote, another random 'Date Night's, this time lured by the £10 classic dish deal. We now want to come back and try all the other delicious daily offers. Our Belly of Pork was luxurious, such a treat! We had a 25 min wait for our food to arrive, but we were in no hurry. The server was most helpful with guiding me through the app, to make sure I got the most from my account. The little gifts and rewards are delightful, and we look forward to claiming them next time. Thanks again and see you soon!”

  “After being greeted and shown to our table promptly, we were offered water and ordered drinks. The drinks came quickly and we ordered our food. The starters arrived in good time. We all had the French Onion soup which was delicious. There was then a long delay before our mains arrived, at least 30 mins. No apology from the waitress. The seabass was tasty and the steaks were cooked as requested. Desserts arrived on good time and were very nice. Overall, an enjoyable meal.”

  “We visited today using a gift voucher and had an amazing experience. The food was outstanding — the French toast was an easy 10/10. The manager was friendly and accommodating (I didn’t catch his name), which really added to the experience. Highly recommend for both food quality and service. We’ll definitely be returning!”

  “Review on behalf of my Husband Martin Had a birthday meal here and what a lovely restaurant this is. The food was stunning, full of flavour and the service was exceptional. Benz was polite, helpful, knowledgeable and after watching him while he was serving other tables, had a level of friendly banter for us all. He certainly made the evening that little bit more special, evening singing happy birthday..... 🤣 This is one restaurant we'll go back to when in Winchester again. Highly recommend a visit if you're in the area.”

  “The food was delicious and the atmosphere was relaxed. However when we asked for our bill the waitress acknowledged us but then carried on chatting to another table. So after 10 minutes we had to ask someone else and another table were also waiting to be served. Was not impressed by the staff member's work ethic and was not happy with being ignored. At least she was paying one table some attention! Other than that it was a lovely meal and dining experience.”
