  “Had a surprise birthday party here on Sunday and everything Claire and Pete did for us was amazing. My family and friends all enjoyed the day and commented on the hospitality. The icing on the cake was that the Bog Trotters performed a brilliant set in the beer garden.”

  “A fantastic addition to the community! Claire & Pete, plus the rest of the Hawthorne Team, make this place friendly and inviting, they are fantastic! I especially enjoy the Open Mic night that they do, that's always a great night. Highly recommend!”

  “Absolutely love this pub. The atmosphere is always warm and welcoming, whether you’re popping in for a quick drink or staying all evening. The staff are genuinely friendly, attentive, and make everyone feel looked after. The prices are very reasonable compared to a lot of places around, especially considering the quality of service and overall experience. Great selection of drinks, relaxed vibe, and always a good crowd without feeling too busy. Definitely one of the best local pubs around — highly recommended best pub in Warrington 😃 -courtney”

  “I celebrated my 40th birthday party on Saturday. The pub was amazing, clare and Pete on the best buffet for my 40+ guests and the way we were accommodated in the actual pub was effortless. We were able to enjoy a live singer and also the freedom to pick your own songs for free was better than having a dj 🙌 I highly recommend booking a party but also just going in for a drink its a fabulous pub and I will be forever a customer 😀 👌”

  “Very welcoming local pub, lots of fun events, live bands, great entertainment all round. Staff are extremely friendly and very attentive to customers. Always served at the bar quickly and the pub is kept clean and tidy throughout. Just wish they still did food especially Sunday dinners.”

  “Fun dog friendly environment! Everyone is welcome and will get to know the regulars so quickly! Reasonably priced and always a bonus when there are fun activities available like darts and pool or entertainment like live music, live sports or games!”

  “Great pub. Note - they don't sell food anymore. But I loved my visit here! More than reasonable prices, great service!! They show sports games as well, pub quiz, bingo, .. pool and darts. And, they have dairy-free coffee cream liqueur 😍”
