About Jurassic Coast Cafe
Breakfast anchors the menu at Jurassic Coast Cafe, a cafe at Woolbridge Business Centre in Wareham, where full fry-ups, breakfast baps and eggs Benedict with poached eggs come alongside an Indian selection, giving the kitchen two directions to order from in one sitting. Bacon and free range eggs go into the cooked breakfasts, and fries turn up beside meals with mushy peas and tartare sauce. The owner runs table service, greeting and seating customers. Dogs are welcome, and there is a garden and yard area with seating outside. Bottled drinks including water can be bought to take on the train, and the cafe sits within walking distance of the Tank Museum, making it a common stop for people heading on to Lulworth Cove. It opens daily during the daytime.

Customer Review Summary
Breakfast is the clear draw here, with several diners praising piping hot full fry-ups and, on the eggs Benedict, poached eggs one regular calls perfectly cooked. Close behind is the welcome: repeated mentions of a warm greeting, with one visitor in a rush to catch a train describing nothing but smiles, and another noting how accommodating the owner was with a large group split between breakfast orders. Also singled out are fantastic tasting bacon and free range eggs, an Indian selection enjoyed with fries, and the sunny garden and outdoor seating, described by more than one as cosy and homely. The caveats are specific: greasy spoon style breakfast baps, salty fries, tangy tartare sauce, mushed peas rated only okay, a latte judged poor quality, and rickety furniture. One reviewer objected strongly to paying two pounds fifty for a small bottle of water, while another pushed back on price complaints, saying the quality matched what was charged. Several say they would happily return on a future trip to Wool.

“Lovely lady who runs it, breakfast baps were very greasy spoon style but good, furniture is a bit rickety and the latte is not good quality, but overall the cafe has a lovely homely atmosphere and it was an experience! Would happily return”

“Stopped off here for breakfast on our way to Lulworth cove, during a weekend for my sons 18th birthday, ( were not local, North East ) The owner was absolutely lovely and so accommodating with half of them wanting breakfast and the other …”

“Long 40 minute walk from the tank museum (lovely place) and had to get food before heading back via train. Came across this gem and although I was in a rush, the lady greeting us was the most kind and patient person I’ve met in a while. Really adorable little place they’ve got set up and the yard looks really cozy. Even though we unfortunately had to rush them to catch our train, nothing but smiles from them. The food however fell a bit short, but I can’t really blame them for it. Still definitely good food. Fries are a bit salty, mushed peas were okay, and the tartare sauce is a bit too tangy, but delicious nonetheless. Rest of my party liked their foods, so I’d just chalk it up to a one-off. Service most definitely makes up for it. Definitely will be remembering this experience despite my short 15 minutes in there. :)”
