About MUTT Everything Dog

A dog soft play area with a ball pit and slide sits at the heart of MUTT Everything Dog, a dog cafe on Brewery Square in Dorchester, where dogs can book into a session and people settle on the sofas alongside them. The drinks list runs to both species, with a Puppuccino, a Mocha Pup, a Cappoochino and Dog Beer for the four-legged customers, and coffee, hot chocolate and cakes such as flapjack and gazzillionaire shortbread for everyone else. Dog treats extend to peanut butter bone biscuits and the Barkwell tart, part of a menu of around 18 items. The space is small and compact, and the team greets arrivals to explain how a session works and show people around. Gifts are sold on site next to the food and drink. Themed dog parties, including a pug party, are hosted here, and the cafe is set up so it can be visited with or without a dog. It opens Tuesday to Sunday and closes on Mondays.

Customer Review Summary

The soft play area sits at the center of nearly every account, with reviewers describing the ball pit, the slide and general exploring leaving their dogs surprisingly tired out. Close behind come the dog menu items, a pawpuccino to settle down after all that excitement, a Barkwell tart singled out as a firm favourite, a blueberry latte and a peanut butter bone biscuit, plus bubble gum handed over to add to the session. For the humans, several praise the coffee and cakes, a flapjack and gazzilionaire shortbread, and quality hot chocolate. The owner draws repeated warmth, greeting arrivals, explaining how the setup works and showing people around, and several note how well the staff handled a room full of dogs at a pug party. Reviewers describe the space as small and cosy, spotlessly clean, and designed so owners can chat with each other or keep to themselves. Multiple visitors say they would recommend it to locals and to people passing through, and one recalls a dog curling up on the sofa beside them.
