About Potters Cafe Bistro
Potters Cafe Bistro sits on Durngate Street in Dorchester, a few steps from a Tudor shopping arcade. The cafe spans three levels, with seating inside, upstairs, downstairs, and outside in a courtyard garden. Dogs are welcome, and breakfast is served alongside a creative menu of homemade cakes and bakery items. Diners eat in or take a table in the courtyard when the weather allows, and the counter staff keep things cheerful throughout the day. The bistro format makes it a relaxed stop whether visitors are after a morning coffee and cake or a longer meal in the garden. The arcade entrance links the cafe directly to one of Dorchester's older shopping lanes, and the multi-level layout gives groups room to spread across the floors.

Customer Review Summary
Most reviewers return for the breakfast and homemade cakes, which several describe as lovely and great value, with quick, friendly service in the courtyard garden. One diner, however, found the very young staff giggly and inattentive, clearing plates early and squabbling over the table.
