  “After a slight hiccup with a booking, the manager couldn't have made our visit better for us if tried. Lewis the server was very very polite, helpful and attentive. The food was lovely and portions are amazing for the prices. The pub is clean, great atmosphere. Nice beer garden with things for the kiddies to play. Pool table, entertainment and it's a cracking pint. Thank you Jamie and staff”

  “We’ve visited the Sire Oak a few times recently and have had a lovely experience every time. We recently went for Sunday dinner and were really impressed with both the quality of the food and the service. The staff were friendly, welcoming and very helpful — even when we asked for extra gravy, which was no trouble at all! We also attended their charity day and had a fantastic time. It was great to see a local pub getting behind such a worthy cause and bringing the community together. We definitely need more of this in our local area. A great local pub with lovely food, friendly staff and a real community feel. We’ll definitely be back!”

  “Absoultley outstanding pub, polite staff and always there to help on demand. Food very high quality and served quick and hot even when busy. No faults whatsoever, they clearly have a good team onsite. Would recommend you all to go try it, of it helps also it serves a great f..... pint!!”

  “Great birthday meal here for my two year old daughter. We got a little area of the pub to ourselves so the kids were able to play whilst waiting for food. Brilliant organisation and communication between staff meant that even though we all paid separately, the food for the 25 of us came out at the same time so we were all able to eat together. The staff were friendly and attentive and made sure we had everything we needed, even providing paper bowls for the birthday cake. To top it off, there is a lovely play area outside full of kids toys. The birthday girl had the best time ever. Thank you for the wonderful service.”

  “Never been here before but popped in for a quick drink,the staff were lovely and friendly and made us feel welcome. We decided to try the Sunday roast it was amazing and well 1aworth the money. Will definitely be going back there again.”

  “Came here again today.. still a fantastic and popular venue. Rick has been landlord here for many years.. very hospitable and always very accommodating... Other staff on site also very friendly and welcoming. High standards are clear to see, the place is spotless throughout and the food coming out of the kitchen looks very tasty and well presented. Tastefully decorated with plush comfy seating and lots of tv screens to enjoy the live sports. The Shire oak also offers Darts and Pool, live music events and a very pleasant beer garden.
