  “Have been coming to eat here a while a have been pleased but eat here last night and I had chili chicken from the sizzler section rice and chips so I was expecting to hear and see my chili chicken sizzling but I was very disappointed pieces of chicken looked precut from a shop and bland my chili cant even say it was a sauce it was very clear very watery with a sprinkle of chili flakes on . My partner had New Jersey Chicken and he wasn't happy with the taste of the chicken said it was very tough and had to pull at it instead of slicing also he had the smallest portion of coleslaw. So we wont be returning and will rather go to Wetherspoons instead. I have had sizzler meals before and they were great but this definitely was not sizzling we were quite shocked at the poor quality of food and the price we paid we expect a decent meal.”

  “We often go here on the off chance and always find the food lovely. Went there last night for my daughter s birthday. Food again didn't disappoint. Bought back memories for my daughter has she worked there 20 years ago, first time back.”

  “We’ve been to The Ivy House near Bloxwich quite a few times now, and honestly… the Indian food never disappoints. Absolutely amazing every single time — full of flavour and cooked to perfection. The portions are very generous. Come hungry, leave stuffed, possibly needing to be rolled out the door 😆. We even went for their Christmas meal, and yes… still managed to eat far too much because it was just that good. The staff are brilliant — friendly, welcoming, and always on point. Nothing is too much trouble, and they really add to the whole experience. Great food, great atmosphere, great people… and a guaranteed food coma. We’ll definitely be back again! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐”

  “It had been a long time since I felt this ripped off after paying 30 pounds for a meal that isn’t worth anything.The courier took a long time to arrive. The food isn’t worth what you pay for it, neither the amount nor the quality. I won’t buy food from this place again. I paid £12 for 2 cannelloni and £13 for 3 ridiculous pieces of cold beef that seemed more like chewing gum than beef. The mashed potato was awful.”

  “Was a lovely place to stop off on the way home, friendly staff and the food was quick and enjoyable! I loved my meal I had the spinach and ricotta cannelloni with home made chips, worth choosing those, me and my partner shared them and we horn enjoyed!”

  “We ate here for the first time last week and the food is amazing!!! We had the three course lunch and all dishes were delicious. The staff were also really friendly. We will definitely be back again soon.”

  “They organised a beautiful hot and cold buffet for my Father's wake. Tina was wonderful, she made organising everything so easy. The setting is stunning with beautiful views over the fields. Excellent food quality, fantastic service from girls in the bar and restaurant, they really helped to bring some joy to a very sad day. We can't recommend this place enough. Thank you ❤️”

  “JUNE 2024 update. Went for a lovely meal with husband, easy to walk to from Bloxwich, plenty of parking spaces though if you're in a car, and a lovely beer garden with views over the fields. Great place to have lunch or dinner. Nice menu to choose from with a good selection of vegetarian options, I had scampi and homemade chips with garden peas and salad, scampi was delicious, peas a little hard but ok. Husband had the beef, cheese and bacon burger with homemade chips and salad. TV screen in restaurant section showing football for anyone interested. It was pretty quiet and easy to get a table just walking in. Staff lovely. A nice pub to visit. Definitely recommend. November 2022. A group of 15 us had lunch today, sent our food choices previously, all good, came out hot, well cooked and together, can't fault it. Nice staff. Lovely local pub. November 2023 update, another big group lunch today, orders sent in before day. After waiting for a latecomer for a good while all meals came out quickly and hot, waitress was friendly and there was no rush for us to eat quickly even though we'd started later than planned. Everyone seemed to enjoy their food, I personally would have had my liver cooked for less time and some pieces were rather hard, but it was tasty with lovely onion gravy and mash. My apple pie and cream was delicious. Unfortunately, the brownie ordered by a friend was very hard, maybe, as the waitress explained because they were gluten free or because it had cooled while waiting for extra custard, or just overcooked, I'm not sure. Overall, a nice lunch out in good company.”
