What reviewers say
Reviewers most often mention mega breakfast, full english, dog friendly and fast service.
Customer Review Summary
The mega breakfast dominates the conversation here, with reviewers repeatedly praising generous portions, quick service and prices around the seven pound mark for a full English. Several also mention the chili con carne and a well filled ham and mushroom omelette, and one dog owner recalls their pet being given its own sausage. Staff are called friendly and welcoming across multiple visits, with one reviewer naming a server who accommodated several changes to an order without issue. Against this, one reviewer describes a distinctly different experience: a twenty minute wait just to order, a manager who seemed annoyed at their arrival, and a mega breakfast let down by frozen sausage, undercooked mushrooms and beans described as coming from a melted pan. That account stands apart from the otherwise consistent run of praise for fast, hot food and attentive table service. Most reviewers say they would return, with several recommending the cafe specifically for breakfast or brunch when visiting the area.

“Walked in and the manager looked annoyed that we walked in. Then said, you’ll have a bit of a wait we’re busy. Not the best welcome unfortunately. Ordered the food after a 20 minute wait to order ,felt judged based on our choices . The food was substandard at best, ordered the mega breakfast, sausage was the frozen type, mushrooms well undercooked and beans from a melted pan. Message to owners: I know it’s difficult running a business but your customers shouldn’t be a chore despite any challenges you’re facing on the day, there are plenty of other establishments in the area . Its a shame as I had high hope based on the reviews online but left feeling like I was a nuisance. Shame really”

“We stumbled upon this café unexpectedly after being let down by a large chain venue, and what a delightful surprise it was! We had our fur baby with us and were made to feel incredibly welcome, she even received her very own sausage! The mega breakfast was fantastic- generous portions perfect for big appetites, excellent value for money, served quickly, and absolutely delicious. This accidental find has to be one of our best discoveries in a long time. We will definitely be back!”
