Food draws praise too: one family ordered the Louisiana chicken, the bacon and cheese burger and the tapas, and finished with brownie, while others mention breakfasts, noodles and a good cocktail selection. Staff are described as friendly, helpful and good with children, coping well when the place gets busy. One group of nine says the food came out very fast, and one birthday party received a free cocktail and 2 for 1 deals. The criticism is specific. “Terrible experience for our 30th Wedding Anniversary. We used to love coming here, but the standard has completely fallen off a cliff. The portion sizes have been slashed by roughly 80% compared to past visits (the photo on the left shows what they used to serve). Combined with poor service, it completely ruined a major milestone celebration and felt like a complete waste of money. Extremely disappointing we will not be returning.”

“We have visited this Lounge location a few times now, for breakfast, lunch & dinner, with no complaints, today's visit 07/07/26 was fir a cold beer whilst walking the coastline. A great location, relaxing & comfortable seating with a view across the bay. I adore the Mumbles & love this Lounge location. Friendly & helpful staff. Thanks to the team working during our visit.”

“My goodness, that is quite a view! We could tell you some stuff about Croeso Lounge being right on the fabulous Mumbles Promenade, serving a really wide range of food and drinks (including kids, gluten free and vegan menus) in a really warm, relaxed environment where everyone is welcome. We could tell you about our lovely big, light and airy space and loads of outdoor seating, including our upstairs terrace. But really, who cares? With a view like this, everything else is just the icing on the cake. Oh, we do cakes too. Sorry, back to the view.”
