About Bizzie Lizzies Cafe

On Phoenix Way in Swansea, Bizzie Lizzies Cafe is a daytime cafe that takes walk-ins rather than bookings. The trucker breakfast anchors the menu, served with beans, tomatoes, or half and half, alongside a breakfast roll that can be built up with extras like fried bread. Mushroom omelette and poached eggs round out the options, all cooked fresh to order. The entrance is step-free through the front double doors, turning left inside, making it workable for visitors with mobility needs, and dogs are welcome at the tables. It opens early and runs Monday to Friday, closing at weekends. The room is small, and it fills with regular workers from nearby during the day.

Customer Review Summary

Reviewers most often return for the trucker breakfast, described as hot food cooked fresh on hot plates, with a choice of beans or tomatoes and a coffee or tea included. Close behind is the friendly, smiling service, with several calling the staff lovely and helpful. Others single out a mushroom omelette, poached eggs, and a breakfast roll with extra fried bread. One reviewer says the breakfast is clean rather than greasy, and a few mention fast preparation and affordable prices. The main caveat is the pace and the crowd. One diner describes slow service because the small place was very busy, though the staff were apologetic and polite. Another notes it is loud with workers and a few swears, and not suited to younger kids, though it was no issue with a 13 year old. One first-time visitor waited about as long as the server's emergency absence, then was given free drinks for the wait and was allowed to pay part in cash when short.

“Took my son there for the first time? And soon as we got there, the lady told us she had to go for an emergency for 20min so take a seat and wait if that was ok? Which it was. 20min later she came back and took our order I had the truckers and my son had a breakfast roll with extra fried bread. I prefer to pay cash but only had £19 on me expecting to pay the rest on card. The lady said that’s ok and we had a free drinks for waiting. The food was good. Warm no issues for such a small place it was great. A bit loud with workers and not for younger kids few swears going off but as my boy was 13, it was not an issue. But it is a place for the workers I get that. Overall I will definitely go there in a regular basis. It’s so hard to find a good place that does nice food for good value. 6⭐️”

“Amazing food. Always piping hot. Staff are amazing. You will not find another cafe like this. Is something is not to your liking then talk to Carrieann. She is more than one to realise and make sure you get what you need. Can’t recommend the place enough. 11/10”

“Food was really nice and was prepared very quickly. Staff were friendly and helpful. Also quite affordable. Update - I visited again and found out there is a wheelchair accessible entrance, go through the double doors at the front of the building and turn left.”
