  “Originally I ordered the Posh Lamb Doner, but I don’t eat flatbread so I asked if I could get extra salad instead (extra slaw or lettuce). The waitress came back and asked if I chose either green goddes or greek salad with Lamb instead. In my head, they are going to do exactly the same as Lamb Doner but adding more greens. When the food came, it was actually green goddes with lamb (not even lamb doner), a bit disappointed actually. Food was good, although the lamb was on the crunchy side, which I thought it should be softer as it’s eaten with salad.”

  “Food is always fresh and delicious! Great value for money, decent matcha and drinks. Would especially recommend their open kebab or harissa chicken grill! Ideal place to get some work done, as the staff are always friendly and attentive and relaxing ambiance.”

  “Megan is a lovely restaurant with a beautiful design and a welcoming atmosphere, both inside and outside. Conveniently located on Victoria Road in the heart of Surbiton, it’s just a short walk from the railway station, taxi services, and local supermarkets. The restaurant is very popular, offering delicious food, friendly service, and both dine-in and takeaway options. A great place to enjoy a meal.”

  “Really lovely place in Surbiton. We went here for lunch last weekend, and really enjoyed our visit. The food was really tasty, and the wait staff was so friendly. Keira was our waitress, and she was incredibly warm, welcoming, and attentive. She deserves a raise!!👏🏼 My only complaint about Megan's--and I know this is a "first world problem" was all the flies swarming around the restaurant, especially in the front area where we were sat. I know there's probably not a lot you can do about this because the front doors were open (part of the welcoming vibe), but the sheer volume of them buzzing around our heads the entire time was a bit irritating in an otherwise calm, pleasant environment.”

  “Popped into Megan’s in Surbiton and came away seriously impressed. The menu is genuinely creative, with plenty of dishes that stand out from the usual restaurant fare. To start, I went for the spinach and feta parcels — neatly presented little bundles with a drizzle of honey that struck the perfect balance between savoury and sweet. The chicken mini grill was outstanding. The deboned chicken thighs were packed with flavour, making every bite effortless and seriously satisfying. For the main, I had the open chicken and halloumi kebab, and it didn’t disappoint. A generous portion loaded with tender, well-seasoned chicken and plenty of halloumi — simple ingredients done exceptionally well. Just when I thought the evening couldn’t get any better, our waitress kindly brought over a complimentary orange and almond cake, which was a nice touch. I rounded things off with a double decaf espresso and a shot of Bullet Bourbon — the perfect finish. What really tied the whole experience together was the service. The staff were friendly, attentive and knew the menu inside out, striking exactly the right balance between being helpful and letting you enjoy your evening. Congratulations to the team at Megan’s — a superb meal and a thoroughly enjoyable night out. I went on my own and felt completely at ease from the moment I walked in. There are still plenty of dishes on that menu that caught my eye, so I’ll definitely be back. Thanks again. 🍽️🥃👏”

  “Had an amazing experience here! The food was absolutely delicious, the ambience was beautiful, and the overall atmosphere felt really welcoming and relaxing. A special mention to Shawn, our bartender, who made the experience even better. He was incredibly kind, polite, attentive, and kept checking in on us throughout the evening to make sure we had everything we needed. Truly great service and hospitality. Would definitely recommend this place and would love to visit again!”

  “This is my first visit at Megans at the Post office. I always love megans for being family friendly and a good selection of yummy food. The Post office branch did not disappoint at all. We were served by Beth, she was very attentive and accommodating. Service was really good. Ambience was lovely and the food of course was reasonably priced and delicious. Would highly recommend!”

  “September 2025: We were visiting our friends again that stay in this area and we had to visit Megan’s again! Carys made sure our experience was a smooth one and we had everything we needed! Thank you for providing a 5 star experience! February 2025: We had a fantastic experience at Megan’s on a Sunday morning! The restaurant’s interior is absolutely stunning, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere while accommodating plenty of guests. Despite arriving as a group of four without a reservation, we were seated immediately, which was a lovely surprise. Even with the bustling weekend crowd, our food arrived quickly—and it tasted just as amazing as it looked in the photos. The flavors were incredible! To top it all off, we indulged in the cookie dough dessert, which I highly recommend trying. A big thank you to the entire team for the great service. We’ll definitely be back!”
