“A group of 20+ of us were in celebrating a birthday. Only 1 of us were placing orders on the app and what can i say, your staff were amazing. Every drink was brought with great enthusiasm from the staff, all helping each other and were so great with our massive group, couldn't recommend a place for patience and cheap drinks.”

“Used the Wetherspoons app yesterday to order 2 drinks then ordered food and drinks as it was a meal deal. The food arrived after 15 minutes. After half an hour there were still no drinks so we went to the bar and were told there was no order which I find it hard to believe given that the food turned up. No apology given and ended up with a refund.”

“This is a very popular and busy 2 storey Wetherspoons in Sunderland, it also has a roof terrace/garden. The food is good and reasonably priced. It has a music license too, most Wetherspoons don't. There are bars on the ground floor and 1st floor, the roof terrace doesn't have one. It's best to take your drink up with you or you can order it when you order food at the bar and it is brought up to you. We always go on the roof, where there lots of tables and a couple of small covered areas. There is also dancing on the weekend. Lovely for a drink in the ☀️ I always enjoy it here immensely.”

“Really simple concept.... If it is going to take an hour to serve a drink ordered on the app either a. put the waiting times on the app so people are aware or b. stop app orders completely and just go to bar service. Waiting an hour for a bottle of beer and a short+mixer is ludicrous.”

“Food for the most part doesn’t take too long, until you go on a busy day and end up wishing over and hour before you’re served. Patrons include a mix of students and older men. Cheap prices and reliable. Just not always the greatest environment, but this is down to the customers more than anything.”
