  “The three crowns is our local and we visit regularly. The staff are always friendly and helpful. The menu sadly let's the place down. It's been the same menu for years and drastically needs changing. The other major down fall is they allow dogs in the dining areas which to me is really disgusting. The pub is a traditional thatch roofed pub with log fires and I always think it could be so much better. To make it better I'd definitely change the menu and ban dogs. To me there is absolutely no need whatsoever to take a dog in a restaurant.”

  “Booked a last minute table for Sunday lunch , having not been here for over 5 years ( even though we live within a 2 min walk!) .it was fabulous - the service ( thank you Zara!) , the food - all perfect . One of the best roast Sunday lunches ever ( we had turkey and lamb) . We will be back ! We are going to be back!”

  “2nd visit to this pub, 1st was in June as it was a lovely day a party of 15 we sat out side to be invaded by wasps as the tables weren’t being cleared of left over food and unfinished drinks. Had been given a voucher for Christmas chose here as it was quite local and sitting inside on this occasion.Waitress very pleasant and starters lovely along came the mains and both only warm, husband had ribeye steak and I had the chicken burger we did eat them and perhaps should have said something at the time, when paying for the bill was asked if everything was ok I explained everything was apart from the mains only being warm to be told sorry to hear that, that’s £94 thank you.”

  “Zara our server was awesome, super helpful and friendly. Food was great and a nice quiet table where our dog could settle without distractions. The Christmas pudding was seriously the best I have ever had and the lamb was perfectly cooked. Not sure there is anything they could have done better.”

  “Great pub, friendly welcome on arrival. We waited on service for food 30 mins but when it arrived you could understand! Absolutely freshly prepared food. Everything was cooked perfectly. Hats of to the chef 😁 doggo friendly but didn't offer water for my dog. Other pubs/restaurants do so take note.”
