Customer Review Summary

Breakfast draws the warmest praise, with one reviewer calling the eggs and sourdough perfectly cooked and another calling a group birthday breakfast the best they had tasted in a long time, the staff happy to let them decorate. Coffee and cake come close behind, and one diner returned later in the week for both after a lunch described as really good. A few reviewers also point to the decor, including an actual vault, and a warm, relaxed atmosphere. Staff friendliness splits the reviews sharply. Four reviewers describe unfriendly service: no smile or eye contact, a manager who told a customer with disdain that wine could only be ordered at the counter, a table cleared but not wiped until the customer asked for a cloth, and sweeteners that never arrived. Slow service recurs too, with one diner waiting far longer for avocado on toast than people who came in after them. One reviewer also mentions dogs inside while eating. A beer drinker found Titanic dominating the cask lines and chiller, with commercial brands taking four of the ten keg lines.

“Absolutely miserable staff. No smile. No eye contact. No manners. They look like they absolutely hate being there and hate bringing your drink and hate you for ordering it. And the service is ridiculously slow even when its quiet.”

“Not a ture craft beer place, 4 out 10 keg line taken up by comercial brands morety, mandri and inches. Cask is domanated by Titanic same with the chiller mostly Titanic resonablely priced.”

“The most unfriendly Bod I’ve visited. Zero personality from ANY of the staff. Trying to get a hello despite visiting numerous times a week is challenging. Nice coffee. Darren at Stone Bod needs to come and teach them all hospitality. He and his team are polar opposite.”

“Good was nice but waited over an hour for avocado on toast. People that came in after us got their food before us. Waited 20 mins for drinks.”

“I had to clean the table I sat at. A male member of staff cleared the table but didn't wipe it down. Had to ask for a cleaning cloth. Even though the female member of staff I ask for a cloth off wasn't serving at the time she happily watched me wipe down the table. I received fast service with food and drink and the quality of the food was surprisingly good. When my tea was bought toy table I asked the same female member of staff for sweeners instead of sugar. After waiting over 5 minutes I had to back to the till ask for them again Although the food was good. The level service and unfriendly manor of the staff don't think I'll be going back”
