  “I ordered a mutton curry with rice and peas, steamed veg (included as standard) What is got was nowhere near. There was half portion of rice no steamed veg and a tray of sauce with 2 small pieces of meat and 3 large nuckle bones (nothing on them at all) the tray it was delivered in was half empty. I also ordered coleslaw, there was less than a spoon full in the tub (10ml tub) I have never been so disappointed with a food establishment. I have cancelled the payment as why should I pay for something that was never provided !”

  “It was lovely of them to pack the sauce instead of pouring it all over the food but.. my jerk chicken didn’t taste like jerk chicken and it tasted old. There was an off taste to the chicken too but the rice and pease was nice”

  “Wow Wow Wow what an experience. Food is 10/10 have been addicted to this place ever since i discovered it. You cant get tired of food made with live and care. I recommend the jerk chicken mac n cheese and fried dumplings very highly. Keep up the great work ❤️”

  “Jerk chicken rice and veg for lunch whilst in the area on a painting job. Absolutely delicious, great portion for the price, not much bone with my chicken either which surprised me! But really well cooked thank you! 👌🏻 Wanted to try this place since last summer (when the lady was out front cooking in the drum! 😍)”

  “⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I originally ordered cornmeal porridge and jerk chicken from Caribbean Corner and I’m convinced they put magic in the pot. The porridge was silky smooth and perfectly spiced - even Goldilocks herself would have thought she struck gold! The jerk chicken? Well, it did exactly what it was meant to do — Juicy, Succulent, Smoky, proper Jerk Jamaican Heat! I’m officially loyal! I’ve got the curry mutton, the oxtail, ackee and salt fish - all of them, dangerously good! The customer service was nothing short of exceptional! If they don’t have it, they’ll try their best to get it. Honestly, Caribbean Corner should be on everybody’s corner! I’ll definitely be back for more!!🔥🇯🇲”

  “I’m not someone who leaves reviews unless I feel it’s genuinely necessary. Unfortunately, this experience left me no choice. I ordered rice and peas with stew chicken, and it was absolutely awful—so bad that it went straight into the bin. The dish was completely unappetizing, both in appearance and taste. Words like “authentic” and “Caribbean” are used far too loosely here, because this was nothing close to either. The rice and peas wasn’t just bland but also was drenched in gravy just as the pictures show. Truthfully, the overall quality was unacceptable. I had high expectations and was left deeply disappointed. This was not just a matter of personal preference—it was simply inedible. I wouldn’t recommend this dish to anyone, and I won’t be ordering again.”

  “Really not the best food at all. I waited for almost 30 minutes and the food was very mid. Tasted like it had been defrosted, completely lacking flavour. The owner wasn’t straight forward about the prices and the Pattie (smallest Pattie in the world) was almost £4. Not great experience, definitely wouldn’t come back or recommend. Completely confused by the reviews.”

  “Been eating here for a while and decided to have them cater a garden party I was holding. Great service from the main cook Ruby from start to end. Easy booking process, well priced per person/portions. I wanted everything cooked as fresh as possible, so Ruby was able to bring the bbq (jerk pan drum) and cook the jerk on site, as well as the curry goat, rice and peas, mac and cheese etc All the guests were raving it’s the best chicken they’ve ever had Definitely eat here if you haven’t tried already - recommend calling ahead to find out if the bbq is on as the jerk is great straight off the fire 10/10”

  “Amazing food, sea bass was cooked to perfection, unbelievable flavours, extremely fresh, lots of heart & soul poured into both the food and service by Ruby. Rest of the dishes were incredible too, everyone extremely satisfied with their food. Best carribean in Bearwood and probably birmingham. Will certainly be back to try more dishes. pepper prawns next time! Elliot.”
