Customer Review Summary
The complaints are specific and recur. One reviewer reports receiving spoilt chicken and salad, then having a later order cancelled after more than an hour because an item was missing. Others describe burnt fried yam served with a rude response to the complaint, spoilt okro dressed with onion and pepper, and banku with tilapia arriving as banku with hake. One Ghanaian diner says a greeting at the front went ignored, no menu arrived until asked for repeatedly, and the couple left with their meal as takeaway.

“I have received spoilt chicken and salad from them last time. I called and all they said was sorry. Then today I ordered food, they accepted my order and waited until over 1 hour later to cancel my order. Their reason after was they didn’t have something on my order, so why not decline the order when it first came in? Very terrible service. This isn’t the first time I’ve had a terrible experience with them.”

“I bought fried yam couple days ago and when it came it was burnt and it looked like they fried the bad part of the yam and just tossed it on my plate. I complained about it and the lady seemed to have an attitude with me. so rude! Anyways this is the third time i’ve been disappointed so I won’t be buying anymore.”

“Let me say this again Mummies corner, your food ain’t cheap so it’s very disheartening to buy food for a 30 quid and get home feeling disappointed.I bought jollof and some part are so soft while another feels like you just poured a hard rice into it. Also if your okro is spoilt just throw it away instead of cutting onion and pepper on it. Gossshhhh!!!!”

“The food is good but the atmosphere when I walked in with my boyfriend who is white and im Ghanaian myself was HORRIBLE said hello to the boy at the front and got ignored we seated ourselves and was waiting for a menu didn’t get one had to ask multiple times for it the atmosphere was really bad we couldn’t stay to eat our food and felt really uncomfortable we ended up ordering it to takeaway. I’m really embarrassed as I am Ghanaian myself and wanted to show my partner who is British our culture”
